Support Groups

The support group locator is down and I"m feeling a little desparate, lol. Does anyone know of a support group in Northern Indiana? I'm 12 days post-op.

Sorry, I don't know of any until the St. V. ones start up again in January. You can share with us what's going on though. I am three weeks post-op, and I know what you mean though. It's good to go to those support group meetings, and get out of the house, and be with people who have been where you've been. Linda Vicory

There is a support group that meets in Ft. Wayne on the 2nd Tues of each month at 6:30 at Turnstone. There are no meetings in December for any of the St. Vincent groups however. There is a web group for the Northeast area. it is http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/northeastindianawls/ once you sign on you wait for approval and you can post and see post for this support group. The web posting are not very active though, this is a better place to be for support until you can get to a support group meeting. So vent! How are you doing?

Until you make it to one.. you are welcome here to vent and ask and complain. and whatever you wish to do.. within reason of course... Linda
