I cannot believe that my surgery is this Wednesday!! I thought that this day would never come! Tomorrow is my last day that I will be able to eat regular food! My friend told me I sound like a death row inmate...LOL! Anyways, the nerves are really kicking into high gears!

Congrats Charles, Its a very exciting time. Enjoy your last 3 meals but dont eat so much u get sick or get your bp to high or sugar to high that they cant do surgery. Keep it all in moderation.

Good Luck Charles! if you get a chance check out my profile/journal. I wrote about my last week of "funerals" for the foods I love. It really helped me a lot. Now I could care less about eating any of those. Sam

Congratulations and enjoy today. From now on you will eat to live and not live to eat. It takes a while to get used to that idea. You may have days post op when you will regret having to give up some of these foods but it is so worth it in the end. Last year at this time I was celebrating being approved by insurance. Today I'm down 109 pounds. It is such an amazing feeling. Best of luck on your surgery and I'll be saying a prayer for you Wed!

Charles, Congrats! Isn't it funny how fast that time flies by? What hospital will you be at? Who is your surgeon? Are you having RNY, DS, Band? Lap or open? We'll be cheering you on! Sherri

Charles, I wish u all the best tomorrow. You are in great hands. In my book u have one of the best bariatric drs in all of the state. I had her and Ive not had one problem with my surgery. Still todate I never vomited or had the slightest bit of trouble related to the surgery(knock on wood). If u see Mary walking the halls tell her I said hello and I'll be glad when she gets home for good. Mariah
