Hello
I want to say Hi to those of you who I met at the Christmas Party on Tuesday night. Carmen, thank you for encouraging me to post some. Pamela, I went to your profile and saw the picture you took of my hub and me I'm glad you took that picture, I had wished later that my daughter had taken pictures of us all dressed up. Jan, it was nice to meet and talk to you. There were several others at the table that it was nice to meet. I was so in hopes I would meet new support people and I did.
I am still amazed that I got the opportunity to attend the party. It was such a last minute decision because all of a sudden we both had the time off to go. We spent the night Tue with our daughter and family and enjoyed our Grandsons most of the day on Wednesday.
I look forward to spending more time on this board and getting to know you all better and learn to know others too.
Linda, I need to say HI again to you...I missed you at the party but understand you have had a lot going on. I am sorry to hear about your Dad. I told Jon and Lory, they are planning to get in touch with Scott and Melissa. AND congrats on your new Grandson.

Hello: Gald you posted. It was nice to meet you. This is a great way to keep in touch. We also did not plan on going to the party till the day before but I'm so glad we did. I think that Sherri's idea for us OH'ers to have a get together is a good one. Maybe a picnic next summer around Anderson or Muncie. I find it hard to really talk when it is so noisy and there is so much going on. Maybe I'm ADD. LOL. Look forward to hearing more from you.
Thanks!!! Yep my life has been one busy experience after another for awhile... now Christmas... sigh!! maybe you can make it to the Clothing exchange in January in Danville.
I hear Jet has a baby brother???Cool!! I know holding my new grandson is a lot different then when I first held the girls.. Speaking of which...They are gaining and growing like weeds!! I think they are sooo smart and so much fun!! I spend a couple hours a week with them. Scott traveled to West Lafayette with us for daddys funeral and Melissa stayed home with the girls.. I didnt want them out in the horrible cold weather and you know what time it is... it is RSV season!!! Bad time for Preemies..
I am glad you are posting!! I quit loosing but I stay on here to keep me reminded of what I have done and how to keep from regaining!!! But a size 16 is SO much better than the 32 I WAS in.
Linda
Yes, Linda, I do have a new Grandson...JET is a big brother. It is the first time we have referred to him as "Big" ;)-- Jay Alexander was born on Oct 24th. It was nice to see Scott and Melissa when they came to visit them. Jay went to full term, he weighed 6 lbs 15 oz. VERY Big compared to JET at birth!!! It has been so good for Jon and Lory to experience a newborn at home. He is thriving and has gained over 3 pounds already. What a difference....
