Christmas Card Time!!!

Hey friends! I found my boxes & boxes of Christmas cards today! Woo-hoo!!!! Please send me (don't post them on here for your own security...k?) your full name (& your family...so I don't leave anyone out!!) & address so I can drop one in the mail & get you on my annual Christmas card list...k? Sherri, Are u going to compile a list of everyone and then share it among us all so we can all send them out or are u just wanting them for personal use. I think it would be great if we could all send them to everyone. If you dont want to do it...I will. I dont mind at all. I could work on it at work tonight even if everyone wants to send me their name and adress to my yahoo email... [email protected] I will then email everyone back of the names and address of everyone who wants to be in the card exchange. I think for the new yr it would be great to even have a secret pal. Sending each other little cards of encouragement throughout the yr. We could drawl names for something like this at the next clothing exchange and do if for 2007. Just some ideas

I love that kind of thing. A few years back I made a goal for myself to send out several cards to friends at different times of the year just for fun. It has been great!!! Everyone just loves when they get a card in the mail and not a bill. So many people have told me that it meant so much. I do it lots and it makes me feel real good to know that the 10 min. I am putting into it is worth so much to the receiver! If you all want to be put on my just because list send me your info!!! Blessings, Carmen

Great ideas!! Christmas Cards..... Hey everyone...send me your addresses (just hit 'Contact' under my post). Include your email address as well as your mailing address. I'll give it until next Friday, and then I'll email out the addresses to everyone who has responded to this...k? So far, I have addresses for: Linda V. Dawn S. Carmen Dan Tammy L. Kylie I have the addresses in Word so that they will print on Holiday address labels. If you don't have Word, let me know..k? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Secret Pal.... Dawn had just mentioned this to me the night of the ornament exchange. I think it's a terrific idea to have secret 'angels'. Dawn particiipates in one from the main boad. Correct me if I'm wrong..k..? I think she said that the 'pal' sends something to their 'pal' once a month (mail out by the 15th of the month). The 'somethings' is some little gift that cost ~$10 or so....journal, perfume, wall hanging...you name it. I think I like the idea better of a card or snail mail letter once a month and a small gift for special occations/holidays. What do you all think? Sherri thats great that u got to get out of the house and get some shopping in. I bet it felt great. I dont like getting out shopping on weekends but just cause I hate crowds. I try to do all my shopping during the week when others are working...LOL I never go to the main boards but I think the card idea on a monthly basis would be great and maybe a small birthday gift and surgery anniversery gift...like u said just something small... Candle or something u know the person likes. I think perfume is a bit personal but we could fill out a small card of what we like when we do the exchange of names. I think a min price would be great too.... Will be great to see what everyone else thinks
