Lap Band Surgery

I had my lap band surgery done on Aug. 23, 2006 by Dr. Keith McEwen. If you are interested in the lap band surgery you should have a talk with Dr. McEwen. He is a wonderful and caring doctor. He will take time to answer any questions you might have and he doesn't look at his watch and tell you that your time is up.

I have a great surgeon picked out who I am super comfortable with, BUT what has the post-op period been like for you now that you are 3+ months out? (BTW, was it an lap RNY?) Eating? Hunger? Family life? Weight loss? How do you feel? What has been most challenging? Any pleasant surprises? Thanks! Belle
