Home from the party

DH and I have picked up our kids and snuggled them in so I thought I would jump on-line for a quick second to say how GREAT it was to finally see some folks that I "see" on-line. You ALL look FANTASTIC!!!!! It was wonderful to get to meet you all! Until next time...... Claudette

It was so nice to see you again Claudette, and nice meeting your husband. I put you pic on my profile last night along with the others I took. I look forward to seeing everyone elses pictures. I had a great time and I agree that everyone looked fantastic !!! I was so glad there was such a great turn out of OH freinds. I hope everyone got home safely. Carmen, Thanks for going with me. I went to the party, but did not see anyone I knew.... not hard in a party that size, I guess. I had a good time though, and got to meet some new people. Maybe next time there's something like this some OH'ers could arrange to meet someplace and go together. Linda Vicory

Linda, Im so sorry we missed you. Carmen and I tried to look for everyone. Sometimes its hard to find ppl when u only have a small pic to go by. I had wanted to go, but DH had to wor****il 10 last night, and its just too far for me to drive in the dark (I have horrible night vision). Plus between dr appts and the ornament exchange, and everything at dads, and two MORE christams paries in the next week i have to go to, i needed a night at home to just unwind a little. So I put my Christmas village up and hung some lights outside during the day (bit by bit, had to keep coming in to warm up!). Would have normally taken me about an hhour, but with baby, it was an all day/evening job. HOpe everyone had a great time, and I WILL be at the next one!

I agree Claudette. It was so wonderful meeting so many...and seeing others again! That was the best part of the evening. I really hope they are able to find a larger place next year...or at least, RSVP so they can be sure there are enough chairs for everyone. Between my foot & Bill's poor vision, that was pretty frustrating to me. I'm not one for all the speeches & stuff either so once they all shut up, it got MUCH better. I had a few frustrations about those speeches but won't go into it here. Let's just say, I love OBESITYHELP.COM and all my buddies on HERE! I really don't know that I even care to go to another St. V's Christmas party. I think I'd rather we all on OH have a Christmas party of our own. That way, we wouldn't feel like some of our best friends were omitted from being able to go. What do you all think? Instead of just an ornament exchange, maybe next year, we can make it a Christmas party! Now...for the people I saw last night.... Ellen..hon, you look terrific! I could not believe how great you look! It was good meeting Jeff too! What an inspiration! Carmen, as always, you are just so sweet & bubbly. It was terrific your being Mariah's date. Mariah...good to see you as well. Claudette & Jan...wonderful meeting you ladies! Mel & Vickie...great seeing fellow Lilly-viller's there. Vickie..I have got 101 questions for you. Smells yummy! And Tiffany asked me to thank you for the clothes. She was looking forward to wearing them to work today. I feel like I'm leaving someone out...and I am so sorry if I am. For those of you that were there and I didn't meet, please feel free to come to the activities we post on here. In January, there will be Darrah's baby shower (the 27th...contact me if you'd like to come!!) and a clothing exchange (not sure of the date). I'm thinking about having another tub & tea in February. Hi It was so good to meet you last night! I did enjoy playing "dress up" for the first time in 11 yrs!! I don't get to do that & now may have created a "monster" I want more party clothes & to get out more !!! Look out Goodwill!! I have even tried to get my Hubby to try ballroom dancing- no luck. So I guess I'll just have to with all of my OH buddies when I can. I was surprised at how packed it was. If it keeps growing- they will have to do it 2 nights! It would be great if we could have a party with everyone on here--WE'D NEED THE CONVENTION CENTER ~ but what fun we'd have!! I had a ball just roaming trying to say "hi" to everyone. It was so great to actually get to meet so many we chat with on here. Hope everyone has a great Holiday Season!! (((hugs))) Ellen
