and to darn cold for me...I am over it, and ready for spring now... I want to see green and live things and the sun..... and also want to say how much i enjoyed sat and the exchange...I LOVE LOSERS.. and always a guessing game who is who...cos #1 no one looks like their pic...and #2 once your a loser and lost you need another pic...everyone trying to trick me who is who....LOL... and when Carmen was talking to Karen about her journey and got teary eyes...I have been there so many times, when i see a before pic of me and how unhappy i was....seems like a whole life ago.......and with my new co workers cos this is my fav subject to talk about they can not believe my before pics....vs me today....so I know how they are feeling and 2 have thought about this surgery....and i always say it is a personal choice it is not for everyone... ok off this soap box... everyone stay warm and have a great day!!

Welcome cold Tuesday! I wi**** was April or so (weather-wise)! I am on the journey of finding out what I can tolerate and can't. St. V recommended citrical creamy bites for calcium, and I tried every flavor and can't find one that isn't too sweet for me. I finally found some chewable calcium at GNC. That sits okay with me. I cannot drink the 1% or 2% milk. It tastes thick and sour, and I can't take it. I did get down a cup of skim milk this morning though. What a journey. Linda Vicory

What is the name of the chewy calcium at GNC? I am struggling with my calcium as well. I tried the Citrical but 3 of them at a time gets old after awhile. I just want a chewable tablet like my fiber or vitamin. I even tried liquid calcium but it's gross. Sam

Linda, Remember that the citrical's were recommended because they are calcium citrate. So many of them are calcium carbonate...and they just don't do as well for post-ops. Please check the GNC label to ensure you're getting the right one. I know for me, I'm experimenting with the citrical flavors also. I may just have to alternate or mix them up. 3 mints ones at a time is just too much mint. I stick with skim milk myself. I also use the Nesquick SF chocolate for a change of pace now & then. Sherri

Sherri- WHERE did you find the mint ones??? I found them once at a wal mart, and then they quit selling them. I really liked them best and would love to buy those again.

Good morning everyone! I'm up earlier than normal today. I have my foot appointment this morning. HOPEFULLY, I'll be getting this darn wire out! I am trying really hard not to think about it. I just hope I'll be able to shower SOON! Washing up in the sink is getting old!!!! I can't wait to see more losers tonight. Woo-Hoo!!! Got the wire out! He re-bandaged it so I still can't take a shower...BUT.....Saturday, I get to remove the bandage AND I get to take a shower!! Doesn't help for the St. V's thing tonight since so few of my clothes will fit over the bandaging, but hey, can't have it all, huh? He didn't bandage over my toes this time though and my socks won't go on with the bandaging, so guess who is going to have cold tootsies tonight!?! LOL! Sherri
