It's Thursday

where is everyone? some of us have gotten lost....come in and say something, and let us know how your doing....then the lurkers come on in and say hi... I have christmas cards to give out to people on sat...then it dawned on me, i will need more, so i am hoping i have enough.....I can not wait for saturday....i am geeked...lol...

Sure hoping the snow stays away for Saturday. I detest driving in snow. Today is "pay all the bills" day so thats what ill be spending my day doing.

Hi, good morning. I really am torn about the exchange Saturday. I want to be there but I have a hard time justifying the 2+ hr drive to get there just for fun. There are so many here I haven't had a chance to meet that I'd like to. I wish there were someone else from up here coming down to share the ride with. I have most of my shopping done and decorations are up so I shouldn't feel guilty about going. Maybe I can get my husband to come along and he can visit with a friend in Broadripple. We'll see. I had a cool Wow moment yesterday. I work in a lab in a Dr. office. I'm the only one in here (unless I get a day off). I had a patient come in that hadn't been in since before surgery. She asked where the lady was that usually worked here. I told her that would be me. She took another look and said "you're the same person that is married to the guy that went to high school with my son?" Yes I am, just 105 pounds less of me.

Jan, Thats really great. I had a big WOW moment yesterday as well when I went in to see the girls that used to do my therapy before my surgery. Not one of them recognized me on first glance. It took them hearing me talk to figure it out. They all recognized my voice immediatly. I posted this yesterday but it was such a great feeling/experience. Makes all those early days of depression so worth it...LOL Mariah I too cant make the exchange this weekend. Its my weekend to work. I only work 2 weekends a month but always seems like every clothing exchange and every Goodwill day falls on one of my weekends...sucks to be me on those weekends...guess I should just be lucky I have such a great job for as long as it lasts....

I wish that I could come it sounds like so much fun ! But I have made a big promise to my 4 year old and we are going to see princesses on ice and we are so excited. We only have 2 more days. Well you guys have a wonderful time Nicole
