HUMP DAY

2 more days till goodwill day and ornament exchange.....i am so ready I already have our ornaments in bags, and all pretty...lol.. yesterday I was all dressed and ready to go and got a call, that, CPR class was cancled, i said does that mean I do not come in...they said yeap..so i drug all my tree stuff up and spent the whole day doing the tree, was one thing after another with it...lights being the biggest issue....then i got to go watch my grandson with his basketball game at Warren high school...3rd graders...LOL...those little guys sure steal the ball from each other.....they were a blast to watch...cracked me up.... now i hope the snow and cold weather goes away before it reaches us...

Ugh, sounds like the snow is supposed to come tonight- ICK! Yesterday I had something quite odd happen. Well, I guess not TOTALLY odd, but odd for me. I've only been sick on account of surgery/pouch related issues a handful of times, but I know exactly what it feels like: 30-45 minutes of begging God to just let me puke so I can feel better, and I salivate like crazy. And then as soon as I'm done, the agony is gone. This happened yesterday for the first time since probablly April I think. Why, I'm not sure. I know I didn't eat anything I havent eaten before, it was chewed well, and I had only had a few bites. But thats not even the weird part. The weird part is, the last time i got sick, there was some blood in it. Not much, about the size of a nickle, but it still freaked me out. Not only that but my face felt like it was going to rip open every time I was sick. I went to wash up before calling the doctor, and looked in the miirror, I have busted about a zillion blood vessels in my face and now i look like I have some weird disease. I called the dr, and they said as long as I felt better and there wasn't much blood and it didnt happen again that I should be fine, but that if it happened again, I needed to call them back right away, and to just take things easy cause I must have thrown up with a lot of force. Also that the blood vessels bursting are probably due to the increase in blood volume due to my pregnancy (your blood volume doubles). The blood I threw up was explained as either the same thing, or since ive ben coughing a lot due to an upper respiratory infection and strep that it could be my throat is just aggitated and raw. I hope thats the case, but I'm going to mention it to Dr, Caccuci when I see her next week anyway.

I am so psyched! I checked my bp today and it was 110/60. I have been off my bp meds since surgery, and it's doing great. I feel really great today. I got up and went to work to pick up my check. Gotta love paydays. Went to Wal-mart for some citrical. I just can't do the caramel ones I got. Too sweet, so I got some cchocolate to try. This afternoon, I'm going to a meeting at my son's school. Linda you are doing so well. Your bp is great. I havent taken my bp meds since the day before my surgery. Im so excited for you. You will have so many more wow moments from this day forward. Plus dont forget. Even the down days are so worth it in the end. In the begining I used to get some really down days...felt so depressed that I wasnt losing fast enough or I was still not able to move without pain....This too passes. Its so amazing this process. I wish you all the best and I keep thinking how wonderful this Christmas will be for your with your son. You will be moving so much better than u would have 2 months ago. Good luck Mariah

Good morning everyone! So sad to hear about Linda's dad. He must have procrastinated going to the doctor for a long time. I hope Linda is able to come Saturday. I think she could use a Loser Fix about now. Ang...are there many men planning on coming Saturday? I haven't asked Bill if he wanted to yet. If it's a chick-fest, he prefers to stay home..lol. I'm going to have to ask my daughter to pick up an ornament for me since I haven't, and can't, go anywhere to get it myself. She's a good girl though & won't mind at all. Dawn...can you still go? I would appreciate a ride very much! I think I need a Loser Fix! Sherri I know my husband will be there and I think Dan said him and Ann were going to be there. I just hope we don't get a lot of snow because I really want to come since I have not seen anyone since the clothing exchange that Dawn hosted and that has been a long time ago. If we don't get too much snow I will be there because Shawn doesn't mind driving in the snow anyway. Kylie

I have to work all weekend but I'm gonna try and get to the local Goodwill here in Richmond. I am really in need of Clothes. Also, If anyone needs any 3x's now...I have tons.... So If u need them now and can come to Richmond for pick up they can be yours. I also have a great update. I went back to see my old phy therapist today(pre surgery I did the treadmil in the bottom of the pool). She didnt even recognize me. She had made me promise when I stopped going to my pool therapy apts for my surgery that I would come back and see her. Well 4 months and 125 lbs later....she didnt even recognize me ...she said ma'm can I help you. I didnt say anything and she repeated it.Can I help you..then I said Yes you can. Then she about fell over. She recognized my voice immediately. It was so amazing. She took me to see like 3 other therapist that had seen me on her days off. They made me promise to come back again in 2 or 3 months. It was such a great feeling!!! I have been so busy lately. Its amazing how when u begin losing all this weight and u dont have pain everytime you move, how u love getting out and moving instead of sitting home behind a computer. I have all my christmas shopping done but one gift for my goddaughter. I have been out all day today shopping just for Andy and I. I got some really great decorations for my home at the Warm Glow Candle store. If anyone is ever traveling on I 70 near Centerville or Richmond, this is a great store. I took went there Sunday with Carmen and went back today. This weekend they will be doing free pics with Santa for all the kids. How many ppl are going to St. V's Christmas Party? I did get the night off and am looking forward to going next week. I hope u are all doing well. I think about u all alot and cant wait till Jan for the clothing exchange. I really hope its on my weekend off. I have so many clothes to get out of my house. I dont ever want to see a 3x again in my life. Mariah
