DESPERATE PRAYERS NEEDED FOR GAIL O.!!!!

Hi Everyone. Gail O. and I are very good and dear friends... I am very worried about her. I just off the phone earlier with Gail (from Indiana) ... Gail is about 5 weeks post-op. She was very upset, crying ... she has already been hospitalized three times since her surgery. She had open RNY and her incision is not healing up "at all" and it has been staying infected ... they gave your high dosage antibiotics at the hospital ... she said her incision just keeps leaking and oozing all over the place real bad - it literally spills. She is unable to keep anything down. She is emotionally drained. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER!! Please ~ keep in her in your thought and prayers. I will keep you all updated. Apple Pie - Thanks so much for updating us about Gail. I tried to go to her website by double clickking on the address you gave. It took me to someone else if I did it right. The only way I knew to get to Gail's website was to go to ROSTER OF MEMBERS. That listed all OH members in abc order by first name. Once I found Gail's name, I clicked on PROFILE and it took me to her website with the Care Bears. I am sure once other members wake up and check the board who have more experience on here than I do, will know another way to direct people to Gail's website. I will send her some words of encouragement and extra prayers. Please keep us updated. Karen

Is Gail back in the hospital now or at home? I'm going down there tomorrow and would surely stop to see her. I feel so bad that she is having such a rough time. She worked so hard to get to this point and seems like such a great lady. If you have a mailing address for her could you e-mail it to me so I can send her a card? My prayers are with her every day.

Jan she is currently at home. She will be in contact with the docs offices tomorrow, so she may be going back depending on what they tell her tomorrow! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, she appreciates them as well THIS IS REALLY TOUGH ON HER, AND EMOTIONALLY SHE COULD USE SOME UPLIFTING! I do have her address , i WILL EMAIL YOU AND GIVE IT TO YOU! ps I JUST HUNG UP WITH HER, SHE S THINKING OF GOING BACK TODAY TO THE HOSPITAL, SHE IS WEAK AND STILL DRYHEAVING SINCE SHE ISN'T ABLE TO KEEP ANYTHING DOWN TO ACTUALLY GET SICK. SHE SOUNDS SO miserable and said she has no energy. I told her maybe it would be best so she could at least get the IV fluids and whatever they could keep in her to keep her from getting dehydrated, too! Thanks , hugz Dawn

Hi Jan, Gail is so down and miserable and she could use all of the support that she can get. I just hung up with her and I asked if she minds if you have her address and she said that you could... she said she had met you before at an exchange. ) Just wanted to let you know that she said it was okay.
