Bubble!!!

HELP!!! I FEEL LIKE I AM GOING TO EXPLODE!!! I have a huge bubble sitting either in my pouch, or in my old stomach, that just wont seem to go away. It feels like when I bend over to pick something up off the floor, that I have to belch so loud, but it doesnt happen. I am walking every two hours, and sipping my water, and I even tried gas-x, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?!? Thanks in advance.

Hi Scott, Have you tried prilosec ? My doctor has me on it everyday. When was your surgury ? Maybe a small sip of sprite or 7 up my help if it dosen't hurt your pouch. I have done this. I know the feeling.

Scott, Welcome home & congrats. As far as the bubble...most surgeons state no pop at all until at least 3-6 months out. I would recommend your calling your surgeon's office and see what they would recommend. They know your body better than anyone...besides, that's what they get paid the big $$ for. Sherri

Scott Sounds like a gas bubble. Try ripping off a good fart and see how you feel If that does not do it, check in with your surgeons office. Dan

Hope by today you've had some relief. I never had that problem so I can't help. If what you are doing isn't helping I'd call my surgeon. Good luck and rapid recovery!
