WooHoo, made it to the other side!
Tuesday I was incredibly nervous, so much so that the though of turning back to home crossed my mind. But, seeing Dr. Inman beforehand got me calmed down and in the right state of mind again. I do so like and trust her. I liked the anesthesiologist too. Well, actually everyone was really great to me. I had surgery and it turned out my gall bladder was awful looking and full of stones, so they took that out too. That was great timing, probably just before I started having pains from it. I stayed inpatient to today. I could have probably gone yesterday, but thought thanksgiving for my first day home would be too overwhelming. So I stayed. Thanks for all the prayers and good thought. I thought about you all, while I was there.

Congratulations Linda!
I've not had my surgery yet... I'm trying though! You mentioned your weight... it seems to me that you may want to STAY AWAY from the scale for a week or so. This window of time is not about losing weight, it's about healing. Drink your water and eat healthy food. Exercise to speed the healing and take care of yourself. Get healthy so your body can do what it's been reprogrammed to do!
So happy to hear you're doing well!
Hoping to be there soon!
