I'm home
Got released from Clarian yesterday. Went to stay with my mom for one night, and now I am back at home.
Dr. Mattar said my surgery was "Fun", cause everything was right where it was supposed to be, and that there wasnt any scar tissue or anything like that.
Still pretty sore, and moving kinda slow, but I have gotten my 64oz of water in today, now I need to get my jello in. off to do that.
Great to be a loser...

Scott,
Congratulations!
Next year at Thanksgiving you will be a totally "new" man. It will be an amazing year! I had my surgery the 29th last year, and remembering last year, today, was so amazing Being able to eat today, normally, without being miserable afterwards and truly enjoying my family and my surroundings and REALLY acknowledge what I do have to be THANKFUL for - was truly a new eye opener for me! I am so blessed to have been able to enjoy myself and have had so many WOW moments this last year, I wish you the best, and look forward to reading your 1 year out post next THANKSGIVING!!!!
Good Luck to the new loser!

Congratulations!! Dr. Mattar is my surgeon too. Isn't he incredible?? I just love him. Just do everything he and Ruth or Nessa tell you to do and you will do great! I just had my 3 month post op appointment last week but I am actually 3 months out today. I have lost 60 pounds and I feel incredible! Do you go to support groups? I have a hard time getting there on time but I am going to start going with the next one in December. Maybe I will see you there? Good luck to you. I hope you have a very speedy and uneventful recovery!
Hugs,
Johnnie
