Maybe Darrah can post her Pumpkin bars or maybe that was Sherri...they were talking about brining them to the last exchange. I'll dig through old posts... I know I need something to bring to my in-laws on Saturday. Sam

Found it! I think I am making these. The bars themselves: 16 oz SF Pound cake mix OR crumbs of SF cookies or SF graham crackers (this is the crust) 2 TBSP melter butter (1) 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened (1) 16 oz can pumpkin 1/2 tsp salt 3 eggs 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice 14 oz sweetend condensed milk ( I make my own from splenda, ill post that reciepe too) 1 C chopped nuts (optional) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl on low, combine cake mix, 1 egg, butter, 2 teaspoons pumpkin spice, until crumbly. Press onto bottom of 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Set aside. In large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk, then remaining 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice and salt. Mix well. Pour over crust and sprinkle with nuts on top. Bake 30-35 minutes or until set. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator. Makes 48 bars. SF Sweetened condensed milk: 1 1/3 cup Nonfat dry milk powder 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup splenda In glass measuring cup stir together milk powder & water till it's a paste. Cover and microwave on high for 45 seconds or until hot but not boiling. Stir in Splenda. Cover and store in fridge. Chill at least 2 hrs before using. Keeps for 2 weeks and makes 12 oz. The bar recipe calls for 14 oz milk, and my recipe for the milk only makes 12 oz, i normally just thrown 2 oz regular milk or water in the bar mix to compensate. enjoy!

I just remembered it was around the time of the last exchange, went back there and WAH LAH! I have a pumpkin colored Coach. I should carry it this weekend!! I am trying to grow my nails out since my last set of tips...slowly but surely. I did go get a pedicure and massage about 2 weeks ago! Have a wonderful with Andy and the family! I am going to Plainfield to spend Thanksgiving with my parents etc. Friday I am shopping up a store (we'll be at Target when it opens!) and then on Saturday we are heading to Richmond for Eric's family Christmas. The biggest excitement is Sunday doing the second walk through on the house we want to buy! Hopefully we can make an offer on Sunday or Monday!! I'd love the recipe for broccoli casserole by the way!! Sam

Sam, I'll email it to you tomorrow when I get it out. Its very simple. Just steam some broccoli and add some Daisy sour cream(it doesnt have any sugar in it or funky chemicals). Then add a can of cream of mushroom or some homemade cream of mushroom. place in a baking dish and top with crumbled Ritz crackers and melted butter. In the past the topping was my favorite part now I try to just eat the broccoli and soup and sour cream mixture and avoid the crackers. Mariah

Sam- I just wanted to tell you to have fun on Sunday!!! That is so exciting; I remember how much fun Jim and I had trying to find our first home. It is so unreal and fun and scary!!! I just didn't want this big day to go unnoticed for you and Eric!! I hope you find what you are looking for and don't forget to get an extra room for the exercise equipment (or should I say the freaky sex equipment)! LOL Carmen
