Hi! My name is Mary and I am just starting on my WLS journey. I have my first appointment with Dr. Margaret Inman tomorrow at 12:45 at St. Vincents Carmel Hospital. I would love to make some friends and hear about other peoples experiences. I am very scared about surgery but also very determined to do anything it takes to be able to have the surgery. I am on Medicare with Medicaid as my secondary. If anyone has had the surgery and is on Medicare I would love to hear about how hard or easy it was for you to get approved. Thanks!

Oh, I think it's normal to have apprehension. This is after all a major life change, a major surgery. I'm getting nervous about Tuesday. I'm just trying to visualize everything going well, and me coming out of surgery happy and healthy. Linda Vicory

Hi Mary - You will love Dr. Inman. She operated on my daughter Dec 21,2005 and will do my surgery on Dec. 20 this year. She and her staff are fantastic. Good luck! Karen

My sister had Dr Inman and to hear her tell it there is none better... but then she didnt have dr Cacucci... or get to look in Dr Evensons big beautiful eyes..etc.. the one that actually DOES your surgery is usually the BEST ONE IN THE UNIVERSE!! (cept Dr E IS the cute one). Surgery saved my life and my sanity!! Best of luck for a quick SAFE journey. Linda
