I have hit a plateau and have been stuck here for weeks. I am 1 pound shy of 100 pounds and am getting so frustrated. I will go up but not down. Surgery was 5/2/06. Any suggestions. Angie

Angie~ My only suggestion is DON'T FREAK OUT!! ! You have lost a lot of weight, your body has to catch up. While the scale might not be moving your weight is probably shifting and your losing inches. And, if you've been working out harder than normal you might be developing more muscle, which is a good thing. Yes, it's frustrating but it will pass. Jaimee

It happens to us all. I was at 99 also for a long time. Now I've been at 103 for 3 wks. But I know the body has been changing. I had a pair of jeans hanging on my closet door for 3 or 4 weeks that were way to small when I bought them. I would try on each weak to see if I could get into them. One day they just slipped on and I hadn't lost more than 2 pounds in that time. Do your measurements. I'll bet you'll find they have changed. It gets depressing for me now that the loss is going slower but I have to remember how far I've come. I can't even imagine how I packed that 100 + pounds around every day. Keep things in perspective! You are doing great!
