A new game plan....
Well I had my husband sign up for insurance through his work so I have another option. I have already called St. Vincent and have a January consultation so I am getting ready for that. I saw my PMD today and am getting my insulin and blood sugar in tighter control. Not giving up on loosing weight until I am worked up and get approval for the surgery...I am living through all of you (those who are like me, waiting for approval and work up and those of you who have taken the leap of faith and are on your travel to a healthier and smaller you...I know there are bumps in the road no matter where you are in the journey but when isn't there a few bumps and detours...we have to have faith and believe that all will work out. Let me know how you are all doing...also if anyone has had Dr. Huse at St. Vincents for their surgeon. Thanks for all your imput.
My endo reccommended Dr Huse for my surgery and I trust my Endo.. I just chose Dr Cacucci because personality wise I liked her.
You have the right attitude.. just remember if life was always easy we wouldnt appreciate it as much.. and it is in the Valley He restoreth my soul... taking good care of the inside as you take care of the outside..
Best wishes in your journey!!
Linda
I had Dr. Huse, He is awesome. He done my RNY and also i had him for my bladder surgery too. Very nice man and an awesome surgeon.
I am doing great its been only a few days past a year and i have lost 106 lb. Feel great and looking forward to the future. I have gone from a size 24 to a 12, if i never lose another pound i am thrilled with what i have lost. After my surgery i had very little pain and i had open surgery. I give Dr. Huse and his skill credit for that.
I wish you lots of luck, Carla
