I Miss Everyone !!!

I have had a lot of uphill battles with my recovery. I have a really bad infection in the mid-to low incidion. If i sit I tear it more so I try walking, but still using the walker, for safety. But, I have lost 31lbs of the last weight taken when leaving the hospital, I gained 12.3 lbs,WOW thats a lot os water!!!!! Love and hugs to all. Gail

Gail- Glad to hear you are up and around. So sorry to hear about the infection. Take care of yourself. Hopefully you will heal soon. I am sure you are glad to be on the loosers bench even though things are still a little rough. I'll keep you in my prayers. Karen

Thats a great weight loss already Gail! Even with the fluid gain! Just keep that walking up, and know that God will take care of you.

Well at least the battles are uphill!! I dont think I would like to hear you going downhill!! Sorry about the infection...Peggy had an infection..but she healed and is a good looser. 31 pounds!! have you ever lost that much that fast??? It is going to seem so wonderful in just a few months.. keep your eyes on the future while tackleing these hills..LIFE after WLS does exist!!! Linda

Hi Gail! congrats on your weight loss. I gained 10lbs in the hospital to. I didnt know it was normal and I started crying then they told me. I have lost 18lbs plus the 10lbs if you count them from the hospital so 28lbs total! I can not wait to meet everyone are you going to the christmas party? hope your infection gets better, that is what scares me, so how did you know you had one? Tracey
