Friday... AT LAST!
Yay, I thought today would NEVER get here! Now it's a matter of getting through the morning until the ultrasound at 130 this afternoon. So I tried to plan myself a pretty busy morning to keep things rolling along. Going to get some laundry started, and then later this morning we're heading out to pick up the crib from Carmen (thanks again). Assembling that should keep me occupied til its time to go, that and drinking gallons and gallons of water and trying to hold it for the ultrasound (I guess they can see better if your bladder is full). Also checking Meijer for some christmas ponies they are supposed to have. We have a few stops to make after the appointment, but as soon as I get home I'll post what we've found out.
Good luck at surgery today Sherri! Sure hope you'll be up and walking around soon!
Darrah,
I'm new. Does it say that you just had your surgery in March? and I'm gathering from your post that you're pregnant... WOW.... did you have problems getting pregnant before. That's the main reason i'm trying to have this surgery is to have a baby. I was on fertility drugs, got pregnant and it was a tubal so I lost a tube. I don't want to lose my other one so I"m going to try and do everything I can to let my body do it naturally. Just wanted to know, so I can have hope.
Keep busy I can't imagine how excited you are!!!

Jessyca,
Just in case Darrah is busy, I thought I'd reply to you. Yes, our Darrah is pregnant..and yes, just had her WLS this past March. WLS is wonderful at regulating your body and making your body more willing & able to have a baby. BUT....definately wait longer than Darrah, ok? I think most surgeons recommend waiting until you are 2 years post-op. Darrah has had a constant battle to get in enough food for her and her baby. For a less stressful, and a healthier pregnancy, do as the surgeons recommend.
Best wishes. I know you're looking forward to holding that little bundle of joy, it will come, but take care of the mom first. k?
Sherri
Darrah,
Good morning sweetie! I'm so happy for you! Way, way, back when I had my kids, they only did ulrasounds if they thought something was wrong. Nothing was, so I didn't know the gender until they were born. Well...unless you count the needle & thread fortune telling that which I might add, predicted correctly! I can't wait to find out myself what your little bambino is going to be! LOL!
Well...off to take my last shower for awhile. For the next 3-4 weeks, I'll have to wash up at the sink since I won't be able to get my foot wet. I think I'll make it an extra long shower today!! LOL! All I know is I am sure looking forward to walking & working out again! I gotta get these muscles tighted back up for my plastics!
I better get busy. You all have a great day...and a terrific next few days! I'll ask my daughter Tiffany to put in a post for me after we get home so look for one on here from 'SweetSherri' since Tiff doesn't have an ID on here.
