Looking for Pamela

come out,come out where ever you are. Haven't seen you up here for a while. I was just wondering how you were doing? Did you go to Lexington? It sounded like it was a fun trip but I just couldn't do it with our vacation this week. We leave Thursday morning for Gatlinburg,TN. Staying in a cabin (called bearadise) with a jacuzzi tub and a hot tub. I'm planing on going on a mountaintrail ride. Do some waterfall hikes and SHOP. We are also planing on going into Ashville,NC to see the Biltmore mansion. This weekend is when they have all the christmas decorations up. Should be fabulous! I'm so excited. We did have some friends that were going to come with us but they can't go now so it will be just hubby and I. Kind of a hunnymoon trip. Our anniversary was this month. 31 years. He sent me a dozen red roses. It was the first time he's ever done that. (plus he bought me a new coat, exercise outfit, earings and some good makeup). He's a keeper alright. Pamela, you never did tell me what you do at work. Who's planning on going to the St. V chirstmas party Dec 5? I'm hoping to, we'll just have to see. I'd love to see some of you again.(and meet some for the first time.) Gotta get some work done. Have a great day everyone

Jan...if u are looking for me. I posted this morning before I went to bed. Im about 8 post below this one..... I called us all crack *****s... How did u miss it....LOL Then again I guess there could be two Pamela's in here...God help us all. I just havent had much new to say lately and it seems like the boards were pretty slow last week. Missing Linda and Angie. They have been quiet too As for Lexington. I did go to part of it. Had a good time. Carmen and Sally were both terrific to hang with. Got to meet a few of my friends from other boards and I met Sheri and her friend. Also met a few really great new ppl and missed a few that I really wanted to meet and didnt. Learned alot too. Which was why I went. We had some good food. Some great shopping on the way home. I got some exercise bands and a ball at the convention and took them to work last night. It was my first workout with them. Plus I started my girlie cycle yesterday to. So my tummy is hurting today...both from craping and now muscle sorness on top of that. What was I thinking... LOL As for what I do. Im a nurse. I went to Miami of OH and College of Mt. St. Joseph (Cincinnati, OH). I have my RN and a BSN. I work for the State of IN, at a mental hospital here in Richmond. Im a clinical supervisor over a drug and alcohol treatment center. I will have been there 10 yrs this April. Before that I worked as a real nurse in a medical hospital. Before moving to IN I worked at the University of Cin Hospital. I would love to go to the Christmas Party and I have a great dress to wear to it. Sam gave it to me at the exchage. Its a beautiful cinim color. I just dont know yet what my schedule will be then I just got my Nov schedule last night. Ok. I hope after all this it was me u were asking...LOL As for Biltmore, I wanna go with u. I love that place. Ive never seen it at Chirstmas either. The shopping sounds great too, however I'll leave u to the trails while I sit in the jacuzzi tub. Im so glad you husband is doing such wonderful things for you. I'll be looking for that coat next winter at the clothing exchange LOL Well I guess I'll go now. Ive posted enough for 2 weeks now.

Hello glad she you appeared I sorta got use to seeing your face on here,that is so neat that you are a nurse for yrs I was a cna and a hha now that I have the enlarged heart that's growing not able to that work anymore but I loved it it takes special people to do this some people are there for the money others like me are there for the love and to help other's anyways hope to go to the christmas party heard it's nice planning to go if everything turns out ok and able!! I should of went to the close exchange I met gail on that Friday and the clothes exchange was sat and I live in attica so about a hr or more mybe next exchange I loved to met you and jan and sherri and more when I get to know them on here if that makes since oh and carmen gail says she's a sweetheart!! < -- -- feels so loved. You both are so kind. Well Jan...as I posted earlier this morning...right now I take any and all free clothes. So I would wear scrubs or anything to work that fits. I normally do just wear street clothes to work but I have wore scrubs to. Just ask Carmen. I took a pair of Pants to Lexington and put them on...I could pull them up to my boobs. Ended up finally having to retire them....LOL They are in a bag now for Sally. Shes getting all my tall pants and all my regulars are in a bag for Gail. Its nice to know I can pass these things on and not just fill up a landfill somewhere. As I said earlier. Im not a thrift store junky I love all the clothes I got at Dans clothing exchange...even came home with a few things at the one in Lexington. Im looking forward to getting to wear all those Christmas clothes I got from you (Bless you MIL)...and then I can pass them on to someone else to wear next yr. LOL Thanks Mary for your kind works... All I can say is Gail has you snowed about "Carmen"....LOL just kidding Shes great....just dont tell her I said that dont want her getting a big head. ME

err... I meant to say I wasnt a thrift store junky before wls....but I am now. Find it hard to spend a small fortune on clothes I can wear 3 or 5 times and than they are to big. Me

I know the difference! However, the news reporters over here call it that all the time during sports reports. So if I just say I went to Miami ... I always get asked things like "How fun was that going to college in FL?" Only someone that works there would get so upset that I said that...LOL Has anyone ever told u ...u sound alot like my mom??? If you say it right in the first place, "Miami University" it is a completely different name - that other place is "University of Miami". Never say Miami. Besides, we were a school before Florida was even a state. I'll get off my soap box now. LOL! Sheryle

You arent telling me anything I dont know. However, I grew up in OH. For non buckeyes.... they dont seem to know the difference or care. I bet the only other ppl in the free world that would know would be the folks in Florida. btw...did u think about going to Columbus with me yet?

I'm thinking I might go to Columbs - would really like to hear Dr. Curry speak. Have you registered yet? Oh, I mentioned it to Cindy and asked if she would like to go, she said she would think about it. Sheryle
