Regional Conference in Columbus, OH

I've never been to one of the ObesityHelp conferences. My surgery is scheduled for Dec. 20. I live just south of Fort Wayne, so I am really interested in going since it is not that far away. I saw that I can register on the OH website. If I understand correctly, the cost is $45. The website talked about a party in the evening from 4-9 at the Ft. Rapids Indoor Waterpark Resort. There was an extra $25 charge for that. I have no desire to play in the water. From other conferences that someone has attended, does a group of people just sit around and visit after the workshops? I would love to meet and visit some of the people from the IN site. Is anyone planning on going to Ohio? Let me know. Thanks! Karen
