PROTEIN BARS

Hi all, was wondering if any of you can recommend a fairly good tasting protein bar. I go to the store and stare at the various brands and can not decide on any...Please help....Deb

Well, I'm 2 years out and still cant seem to find one (at the store) that tastes good. The one I do like (LOVE) is the "Power Crunch" bars that you can order online. They are expensive .. but they are GOOD.

I really like the Extreme Protein Bars from freshenergybakery.com. They come in a variety of flavors and have 42 grams of protein per bar. I eat just 1/2 of one and it really fills me up and tastes great! They may seam a little expensive when you first look at them ($4.40 for 2 bars), but remember you will cut them in half, making 4 servings, so you are really getting them for $1.10 per serving. They taste good enough for my 5 yr old to ask for them! Let me know if you try them and/or like them. Cindy

I eat the Detour & Oneway bars from Walmart. They are 96 cents. They have 15 grams of protien.

im not much on the "crispy rice" kind of bars, but the south beach choc pb ones arent bad, 19 g protein and no sugar
