plastics
i want to.....my ins will............but i am a sissy........sooooo i think about it......i then will see a pic of someone with the drainage tubes.......and then i forget about it again for awhile......for my age i am not bad......not good, but the gyn said she sees ladies that have not lost weight have worse looking boobs than i do.......I am 53....not like i gotta look perfect....but i would like the girls to look better
I went into the surgery (RNY) thinking "if I could JUST lose the weight and be healthy, I couldn't care less about plastics. WELL........110 pounds down, boobs that went from a c/d to a b (also look like deflated balloons) as well as an apron that looks like the funny cartoon jokes on the internet about 90+ year old women have me thinking differently!!!! I am ALL FOR plastic surgery now! I would love to have a TT, thigh lift and implants. To my knowledge my insurance would assist with the tt as long as I can prove that I have had several doctor visits due to problems with infections and sores, prescription history and pictures. I am not sure what else they would cover or need to cover. Getting a for sure answer from Blue Cross Blue Shield (highmark) is like pulling teeth!
I do have a consult scheduled with Dr Grasse's office November 13th. I was hoping to go to Turkle but got a "coupon" for a free consult from Grasse. I figure it can't hurt and would give me a better idea of costs and hopefully insurance coverage. It's still a little soon for me to be getting plastics. I believe the average is 100 lbs gone and out from surgery about 18 months. Who knows, if it's all out of pocket it may not happen anyway.
That's my two cents worth. I am anxious to see how everyone replys to Carmen so I can get more info too.
