plastics

Ok I am just wondering who out there is planning on having some stuff worked on. What are you all doing to yourselves and who will be doing it. I know about the ps forum, but just wanted some local opinions. The big question for me is new and bigger boobs or higher tiny boobs. I just don't know if I want some plastic hanging around inside of me or not. Any thoughts are welcome!! This was posted with lightheartedness not judgment. Thanks, Carmen

I've been giving it some thought even though it will be a while before I'm ready for it. A lot depends on what (if any) insurance will cover and the cost involved. I'd like to get a boob reduction (always been to big) and lift. Although from the ps shows I've seen they usually do a small implant for shape. Also like to have the extra skin removed from the tummy. The rest I think I can live with. If insurance doesn't cover I may just live with it anyway depending on the cost . Anyone know how insurance usually responds to these claims?

Usually you can give the CPT code of the procedures to a customer service rep for your insurance company and they will tell you if it's covered, exclusions, or anything special you may need to know. Don't know the CPT code.... well you can google it... or you can email someone with a CPT book. OMGSH I HAVE A CPT BOOK, hahahah!

A very good friend of mine just had some plastics done. A TT and a breast lift. The healing for her has been a little slow, and I haven't seen her yet. I am so anxious for her to get back to work!!!!!! I am only 5 1/2 weeks out, but I wouldn't hesitate to get plastics if I need them--and I probably will need them. Like Jan, it depends on what insurance will cover. I don't want to second mortgage the house or take my kid out of Catholic school to do it. If you can go out and get big perky juicy melons, a flat tummy, and a heart-shaped butt, then go for it. I would!!!

im plannign on a TT and possibly a boob lift. im okay with their size, i just dont like them hanging to my knees. i think my insurance said that for the TT my panni would have to be passed my pubic bone to qualify. heck, it was passed there before surgery.

Having a baby won't help with that either!! How is the pregnancy? Good I hope!

I think I know what I need to do! I need to find someone that has had implants that isn't shy! I have never seen them and would really like to know for sure what they are like! So if anyone knows someone with implants and no modesty let me know! I guess I could always go find a strip club and start asking around! LOL Have a great afternoon all, Carmen

Carmen, I have an appointment Jan. 8th for my 1st consult with Dr. Turkkle. All the coorespondance I've done over the past several months have been best with their group. I am checking into a body lift, breast lift with possible implants (depends on if the lift would take below 'C' level or not. I'm also going to check into, but not decided yet, arm lift and chin lift. I also plan to have a nose job done while I'm at it. Will let you know as I know. Right now, just gotta get feet finished up! Sherri ps..If I get the implants, I'm not shy.

I am far from being ready for plastics but I have thought about it. I am wanting my tummy, arms and legs. As far as my boobs I would probably just have a lift done. Now hubby wants me to get implants but I won't do that due to my Mom is a survivor from Breast Cancer and I have heard when you have implants that the mamograms are not as good. So thats my 2 cents.....lol. Bonnie
