Friends feature....

Hey all... What do you think of all the new formatting changes on here? I'm still working on updating my profile page. May take a little while for me to have time, so be patient, ok? I have gotten into the 'friends' feature though. Haven't noticed it yet? Well...one way you can add people to your friends list is to look at the end of one of their posts. See the tab that says 'Friend'? Click it and they will be asked for permission to be your friend. They are asked by recieving a message on here. You may have already gotten one (maybe even from me!). Messages show up in red at the top center of the page if you have any. If you do, click on it and follow the 'click here's' to add someone. I have 8 people that I am waiting for them to say I can add them...7 from the Indiana board. So...check for the red 'You have 1 message'. If I didn't send you one...send me one!! If we have someone who has already gone through the profile update process and have figured out some of the in's & out's, share your knowledge with the rest of us..k? Your buddy, Sherri

What is the actual purpose of a friends list. Can they do anything different than other ppl on your site. I started out adding ppl I knew and were truly friends, mostly ppl from the Indiana room. Now Im getting things from ppl I dont even know (not from this room)...I just accept them all. Just wondered what is the reason for that area is??? I dont mind....everyone can be my friend...IM just asking so I can learn... On my 360 page My friends are ppl that can see my locked pics and things like that but Im not sure on here that there is any differences???????

The biggie for me is that if I want to send someone a message, and I don't have them in my home email address book or if I'm not at home (like at work... ), I don't have to scroll through posts to try to find one that they had put in. I can just go to my 'friends' section and click on 'contact' under their pic. It's a convenience...especially when you have friends who don't post very often. Sherri
