Good morning everyone! It took me twice as long to get to work this morning! 40 minutes instead of 20! While I was getting ready, Bill told me that they had it one the news that there was a wreck at the splits so I wound up taking city streets instead of 70. Oh well, here now! After I got here and was drinking an Arizona Diet green tea, I checked out their website and learned that they are coming out with a decaf diet version! Woo-hoo!! I had gotten some test results back from this health study I participated in at work. My BP (an average of 4 readings) was 94/45. Yes, that's fairly low..not bad for once being morbidly obese, huh? My total cholesterol was 126 (should be less than 200), my good cholesterol was 50 (women of my age group should have 40-60), so that puts my bad at 76 (suppose to be less than 120). They also did a RMR test to determine how many calories I'd burn if I did nothing but sit there like a bump on a log. It's to determine your metabolism. I think I may not be getting enough calories in a day! I normally get in 1200-1500. My RMR was 2,526!! No wonder I lose weight when we go to Vegas and I graze at the buffets! My body thinks I'm starving it to death! I'm going to share this info with the dieticians and see what they say. I found it all pretty interesting. The health study was OSHA driven to see what the connection was between stress in the workplace and heart attacks. They study a wide range of people with or without health problems. Based on my results, they are going to think that lab rats have no stress at all! LOL!! For lunch today, my boss is taking our group to Gray's. Linda probably knows the place. I think he said it was in Mooresville anyway. I've never been there so I'm looking forward to it. I love trying new places! We went to McAlister's Deli on East Washington a few weeks ago and it was really yummy! I ate about 1/2 of my chili and 2 bites of my sandwich and the rest was just as delicious in the next 2 days! Last Wednesday, we tried The Grand at Mithoeffer and Washington. Yummy!! There were alot of choices there too. I even tried frog legs for the first time in my life. MMMMMM!!! Does anyone know how to get to the Mansfield flea market set-up durring the Covered Bridge Festival? I'd like to go there since I remember it being one of the larges flea market areas but I have no idea how to get there. I also want to try to hit some yard sales. Alot of people will sell craft supplies pretty cheap and since it looks like I'll be making quite a few items in the future, I want to be able to make them as inexpensively as I can. Well..you all have a lovely...if somewhat chilly, day! Sherri

OMG Gray Brother's is HEAVEN! Do you remember the old Laughners? (SP?) It's one of those places you slide your tray down the line and pick what you want. They have AMAZING pies. Probably have a few sugar free ones too! Grays is ALWAYS busy esp. on holidays and Sundays! Enjoy it! It's fabulous!! Sam

Gray's is the best! You can get whatever you want there. I love their chicken and noodles but of course haven't had them for a while. We always go there for office birthday lunches. The next time I go, I will have baked fish Have a great weekend! Janet

Sorry guys..I wasn't too impressed with Gray's. Maybe it's my taste buds. I also thought they were expensive for what I got. A small salad, small tea, roast beef, brussel sprouts & broccolli was $11. Now..those who got pop, roast beef, potatoes and a veggie, there's was only ~$7 or so. That's an expensive salad & broccolli! I think the meat was a flat price that included a starch (potatoes, mac & cheese, stuffing) but if you're like me and can't eat starches, they charge the full price anyway. I don't think I have to worry about it becoming habit forming for me. Now..The Grand or McAlister's...that's another story! Sherri
