I just got back from roller skating with me kids! It was awesome! I skated the whole two hours and didn't fall even once. I was so proud of myself and really enjoyed doing it. My kids were so happy to be doing something like that with me. I really feel like this is what it is all about. I am so happy I had the surgery. Have a blessed evening, Carmen PS I do think I have a blister on my big toe, but it was worth it!

Oh man i used to LOVE roller skating, but after I got so big my poor ankles couldnt hold me up anymore on them. I'm glad to hear you had such a great time. I can't wait for little ones to do those kinds of things with. I'm so happy that I'll now be able to do them! You're such an inspiration.

I was the same way. I just knew that my legs couldn't possibly support that much. Plus I was worried that I would fall and break something or someone. You are gonna be a great Mom. You will never take your health for granted and remember to enjoy the freedom that comes with being able to get down in the floor and play with them. I did think about when it will be good for me to move Talea up to the big girl bed and I was thinking sometime before Thanksgiving. So that would be about when you can expect the crib. I also live in a neighborhood were people are always getting rid of stuff for free so if you have a need list let me know! Take care, Carmen

WOW, I am so happy for you, what a WOW moment that was! Your children , I am sure, are very proud of you! You are such an inspiration, not only to them, but so many of us as well! Keep up the great journey! I would love to do this with my son, we normally have a skating party for the baseball league, so who knows maybe I will muster up enough courage after losing a bit more and be actively involved this year, we shall see! Sorry you received a blister, but boy was it worth it! Have a great evening. Hugz Dawn

Thank You for the compliments! It is so weird for me to have people tell me that they are proud of me. My kids have been saying a ton lately and it is getting easier to take, but I still struggle with it. I had such low self esteem for so long, that I still struggle with it each day. If you ever get the chance to go skating I recommend it. It was so fun and a great way for all of us to burn a few extra calories together. Did you have any luck with the dress? If not yet it won't be long and you will be smokin hot in it! LOL Carmen
