Good morning everyone! Other than running to the grocery store, not alot planned today. I'll be working on my pc (plastic canvas) project probably. For me, busy hands make a happier heart. Tomorrow, I have my annual GYN appointment so I'll be going into work late. They probably don't feel like I'm really back at all...it was just a dream that I was there! LOL! Oh well, 3 more weeks, I won't be there so no use in them getting to use to me being around! Haha!! You all enjoy the day! Sherri

Yesterday was truely and awesome day. I love when we have these get togethers. I go not necassarily for the clothing or the food/snacks - but the comradity of all of us being survivors of obesity. I love the talks, the sharing of information, the laughing, the support and the positive changes with everyone. I like beinging one of the first ones there and somewhat the last ones to leave. I can't wait to host my own exchange in April of next year. Last night I got a huge grin on my face when some of the stuff from the exchange that was given to me actually went on my body. Some of them in a size 7/6 went on with barely any problems. I know that they will fit more better when I have my tummytuck/lower body lift at the end of this year. I got my mom to already alter the two larger size shirts I found and now they fit absolutely perfect. I can't wait to share those with the next lucky person. A suggestion to us ladies that have a hard time parting with a shirt/blouse - alterations. It's rather cheap. Before my mom started doing mine I was paying about $2 to have each shirt taken in to fit me. I know some of us still have money invested in our old "fat" clothes. If you really don't want to part with it then find a seamstress and have it altered. It's rather cheap to do. Two more months till Goodwill has their next half off sale and three months till our next exchange. If anyone is in need of anything by the time the Goodwill sale hits plz to let me know. I know there wasn't a lot of large - 12/10/or smaller sizes so I plan on shopping on Goodwills sales or half tags and pick stuff up for the next exchange. Huge HUGGLES for Dan and his wife for the hosting. Today Gage has swim practice again and then we are going bowling with the Special Olympics. Other then that I plan on catching up laundry and sitting on my boney butt, hahaha! Jodi

I am so sorry I missed this! I'll definitely have to get to the next one since my surgery is the 20th.. I'm sure that I'll need some clothes by then..and will have plenty to get rid of...
