Thursday....already!
Good morning everyone!
Has this week been going by quick for you all too? Acctually, with my foot, I guess I could use it to go quicker yet. I'm going to try wearing the boot this weekend around the house and see if that doesn't help some. With it still being swollen on the bottom...at the ball (under the toe..well, the toe is swollen too), I'm not walking flat-footed and it's causing pain along the top of my foot and near the outside of my ankle. The boot will force me to walk flat-footed and keep my ankle from turning.
Today is a busy day for us. First, we have to be at the dealer's to pick up our new toy at 10. They'll show us how to hook up the hoses so we won't be like Robin Williams in RV..LOL! , set up the roll-out awning, work the appliances, and stuff like that. We're filming it all with Bill's video camera so we can use it to remind us of the how-to's.
Then...I have my 2 yr check up with the dieticians and Dr. Gupta this afternoon. It's not going to show much of a loss since my 18 month check-up...only about 5-10 lbs. Considering I was doctor ordered to not to walk even during most of it, and the last 2 months was spent on my butt for the most part, I don't feel too bad about it.
To finish off the day, we are meeting with some friends for dinner. I know tonight will end up being a late evening. It's a good thing tomorrow is Friday! LOL!!
You all have a terrific day!

Good morning Angie!
Bill plans on us camping at least 1 weekend before I have my other foot done...so it will have to be the weekend of the 14th and/or the 21st. This weekend, we'll be playing at 'Trick My Truck' by trying to get it loaded up with stuff we'll need while roughing it...you know...a TV for it, etc...LOL! So no, won't be going to the exchange Saturday. Instead, we'll be shopping. Guess a girl can't complain too much about that..it IS shopping afterall!
We're going to Lincoln Square on the east side for dinner. I'm thinking that the Riverboat is in order. That's a hamburger steak topped with grilled mushrooms & onions. I can only eat 1/4th of it at a time but I love it.
Has your weight loss slowed to a crawl too?
It stormed here last night around 10:30-11.

Good Morning!! Sherri I can't wait to see picture of the new "toy." Sounds like lots of fun. We had a mobile home when I was little and drove it to Disney in FL. It was fun.
I didn't feel well yesterday so I didn't get all my fluid in. So I'm throwing back water today to make sure I get it today.
I'm bringing lots of protein samples, an EGG-stractor, and other misc. sugar free items to the clothing exchange. It's all stuff I just can't tolerate or don't like. I also have so many clothes to bring!! I'm wearin a shirt today that was tight before surgery (3X button up) and I'm swimming in it today. Looks like it's going to the clothing exchange as well...
Have a great day everyone!!

Hope you get to do a lot a traveling in your new toy. I love to travel we have been all over. One place I want to go and haven't been yet is the Grand canyon. My hubby wants to buy a "toy" in the next couple of years and do some roaming. Just get in an go. Since this is my first clothing exchange Sat I was wondering how things are organized (or disorganized as it may be). Does each person lay their clothes out on separate tables or are they sorted by size. Are there racks to hang things on, or should I leave the hangers at home. And just where is this Mr. Dan? I haven't seen a post from him in quite a while. Hope he is OK and just lurking. See ya all Sat. I can't wait. I've been looking forward to this for some time.
Jan, I have talked to papa Dan a couple of times this week thru emails. Hes doing better but just wasnt feeling well. He had 2 procedures done last week. Hes working on making himself better for Sat. Everything is still on. Im sure he will see your questions and answer. He does check in when he has the strenght. Keep him in your prayers. Also if anyone has questions u want to email him...him or Ann will get back with u.

Good. I'm glad he's on the mend. I just saw in a previous post you were needing coats. If you still do II have at least 3 i'm bringing Saturday plus 1 pair of 24 jeans you'll be ready for soon. Lot's of 3x winter clothing and cute denim jacket that I got for Christmas last year and wore only once. It was too small at first then it wasn't the right season. Now it is to big. (darn) I think it would be perfect for you. I'm so excited. There is a pair of jeans (size 18) I bought on sale in early August that were way to tight. I tried them on yesterday and they FIT! So I'm hoping to pick up some more 16 and 18 Saturday. I'll also need a winter jacket. (I hate heavy coats) My MIL just bought me a leather jacket, great for this fall. Also might be nice to find a dress or skirt and sweater for church.
Sounds wonderful. I dont have any winter clothes I can wear. Last winter my wt was so out of control all I wore were Mens 3X tall Sweats!!! I have bags of them Im bringing to keep Gail warm this winter. She may have to cut alot off of them. I dont know how tall she is. So I dont have anything for winter except a few sweaters I got from Carmen a few weeks ago. So I'll look forward to your piles of clothes. Sounds like just the sizes I'll be needing.
Today is the Grand Opening of a Kohls here in Richmond and today I hit my 100 lb wt loss. So Andys taking me shopping and Im hoping to get a nice outfit on sale for the fall. If I find a great one u all might be seeing me in it on Sat....LOL
Talk to u all soon.
