Going to be a long Fall and Winter!

Hello Everyone! I'm a newbie coming out of lurking status. I was hoping it would be to say I've been approved and waiting for surgery date. Instead I'm going to have to sit back and watch all you losers get a 6 month head start on me because I didn't research my insurance company's requirements before I got frustrated and quit going to my pcp after 4 months on adipex. I was that close and didn't even know it. I have alot of the usual comorbidites but I'm still stuck now. I know 6 months will go by pretty fast with the holidays coming soon and all but I am soo mad at myself for not checking first. I've been obese my whole life and MO the past few years since turning 40. I just can't do the diet pills anymore. So I 'll going to my monthly appointments starting tomorrow and play along for the next 6 months. But I'll be checking in to see how all you old, new and soon to be losers are doing while I'm waiting. Best Wishes, Cindy

Glad to have you with us. You're right the time may seen to go slow but when you look back on it it will have flown by. Use the time to read and prepare for being approved. Check out some support group meetings. You'll be here on the lsoing side sooner than you think.
