*****ally gets all their protein in???? At this point, I don't really care if my hair falls out. There is a great wig shop in Mooresville.

I hate to sound like some kind of freak... I know too late, but I get all my protein in everyday. I also get all my water and then some in each day. I had about two weeks right at the beginning that I didn't think it would be possible, but it is. I don't know if you mean just from food or supplements too, because I have to take protein supplements to get all 90 grams in. I could never get it in with only food. I must say even with all the protein I am still losing hair like crazy. I take all the vitamins and do all the right stuff and the wig shop sounds like a great place. LOL I might need directions to it soon. Have a protein filled evening, Carmen

I ALWAYS get my protein in. I take my vitamins every day & drink 60 to 100 oz of caffiene free fluids in. However I eat the wrong kind of carbs alot of the time. I need to get my act together on that! I also need to exercise more.

Melanie, I had trouble getting all of mine in at the beginning too. It gets easier. You kinda have to experiment some to find out which ones are more to your liking. We're all so different. I drink Achiev Protein now and have NO problem getting it in. I love the stuff. Sherri

Hey Sherri I have been thinking of trying that, what flavor do you like the best? If you don't mind sharing! How's your foot? I am so looking forward to meeting you sometime soon. I now this sounds strange, but you are kind of my wls ideal. LOL You just alsways seem to know and are never afraid to share. Carmen

Carmen, I don't think I've ever been told I was someone's 'ideal' before (except maybe my daughter's). LOL! WLS has been good to me, even with complications, so I feel an obligation to WLS to share any knowledge I have. I'm glad someone can use it. It makes me feel like I didn't go through the complications for nothing. My personal favorite Achiev is Mocha Java and I put a foot update on the 'Thursday' thread. Sherri

Where do you get your Achiev drinks???? I have to get them special order through a local health food store... but they have been on backordered since the beginning of the month. Well.. the cappucino has been (won't be ready until 2nd week of Oct).. and the Mocha Java just came in from being backorderlast week. I hate waiting.... Julia

Julie, I order my Achiev from BariatricEating.com. Occasionally, they have a sale where you can get it for much cheaper if you get several cases. Not long ago, I bought 10 and got $5 off per case. I never mind saving 50 bucks! The only one I ever see back-ordered through them is the cappuccino, which is fine with me. I like all four flavors but the Mocha Java is my favorite. I just love their convenience too! No mixing! Couldn't be easier! LOL! Besides, I love coffee flavors. (Everyone else...if you don't like coffee, these drinks would not be for you). Sherri

Achiev protein?? Where do you get that??? I am so discouraged right now. I can't tolerate the milk/dry milk crap. For the past 2 days, I have forced down protein shakes. Talk about NASTY!!! Sweet, sickening vanilla stuff.

Melanine, I had a hard time the first week. So I would just drink the 1% milk...then I after a few days I got where I could put the instant breakfast in it...then slowly I added more powdered milk to it. Its not easy the first few days. Dont be so hard on yourself. It will improve. Mariah
