It's Monday!

Ugh, can't it be Friday again already???? Hope everyone had a restful weekend! I'm not working again today, since my dad is still in the hospital. He might get to come home today, but only because there is nothing left to be done for him. They said yesterday that this is just how he will be until he's done. This is going to mean increased care for him on our part, so I am going to have to call my boss and ask for a demotion. I can't be a manager and have this going on at the same time. I need to be able to leave if I need to, and as a manager, I can't do that. I'm afriad that I might get fired over it, but oh well, would just be the second job in a year I lost for a good cause (the first being my surgery). Hope everyone is off to a good start this week, and has the best Monday they can!

Hmm Its Monday Morning already!!! I only have 2 more nights to work and I have another 4 day weekend....Yippee!!! Darrah, I sure hope your dad gets better soon. Taking care of him and working will surely wear u out fast. Does your dad have any kind of insurance or asstance where he could get some home care. That might help save u some energy. Home health care is a big business these days. Im so excited today about my wt loss for last week. I havent gone to the gym since last wed. Im going back today. My husband and I were pretty busy when he was here and I still lost 5 lbs. Then Sat with the rain I didnt leave the house. Sunday I went to visit Carmen....Im gonna have to visit her more often. Just spending the afternoon at her house and I lost 2 lbs just yesterday alone. Im gonna have to get me some of those pork rinds she was feeding me so I can keep loosing like this..LOL Well Im down to 301 today...thats 7 lbs to go for me to have lost 100 lbs. Its just so hard to believe that I could loose 100 lbs and still be this fat. Guess I didnt even realize how out of control my life had gotten. Linda, Ive been packing up things for the clothing exchange too. I hope someone can use all this stuff. Im worried too that its not sylish enough for Dan. I may have to bootleg my 4x clothes from my trunk. Ive never seen to many 4x's that were stylish. Most just look like tents. At 400 lbs I wasnt wearing low riders and showing off my muffin roll..LOL. I have some 4x's that can be added to that boot leg pile. I look at them and can hardly believe that 5 months ago I was wearing them and stretching them before I put them on. I am so excited for you. I bet tomorrow you will be under 300 wont it be cool to see 2-- something on the dial? I don't think I fared as well as you did yesterday. I only lost about half a pound. Well u tell Jim that hes my new best friend..LOL. Also, Without sounding like this is a love fest or that we paid each other to do this...LOL. Girl u looked amazing. U didnt have an oz of fat on you. Take away that skin and u would fly away. Its the only thing keeping u grounded at this point. I couldnt believe all the muscle u had in your arms. Just freaking amazing. Like I told u last week....Im gonna have to kick u out of my fat chicks club....LOL I was telling Andy about how well your husband has done loosing wt along with u and that becouse of it he even has new shirts. He just laughed and said he hopes it wears off on him too. So far he said hes just gaining what Im loosing. Since hes eating all my leftovers. I also told him I was gonna steal your sweet baby boy and bring him home with me for a couple of weeks....lol Told him by then It would probably be out of my system and I would give him back...LOL He said after the first poopy diaper I would want to give him back.... I hope in 5 more months I can see a size 14 or even 16. That would make my yr. I was just updating my profile when I realized that my bmi has really went down too. I think it looks even better than the wt loss. To think Ive went down in body fat by over 13 percent is just amazing to me. Surgery wt -394 BMI of 56.5 last weeks wt-309 this weeks wt-301 BMI of 43.2

Im so excited. I just got back from JC Penny, They are having their huge yrly jewlery sale starting tomorrow. I got Andy a Seiko® Men's Watch gold on sale from 235.oo for 129. plus I put it on hold and my best friend is picking it up for me when she gets off work. She works there and will get her employee discount on top of all that. So Im hoping this yr I can really suprise Andy on our Anniversery. He always gets me nice gifts but I never have any money....So this time since I can get it on sale I can actually get him something nice. I really hope he likes it. As long as Ive known him hes always wanted a nice dress watch and he would never spend the money on one. If anyones wanting jewlery...Nows the time to check out their sale...esp with Christmas coming up too... Mariah

Darrah, There is an Elder Law attorney who helped us with my grandmother when she had to go into a nursing home permanently. They helped to protect some of her assets and with filling out/filing the medicaid application. The firm is Severns & Associates, 633-4090. They are great to work with. We are going through something similar with my mother and will be using them again if it is determined that she must go to a long-term care facility. She is staying with me at night and with my sister during the day for now and it can be very exhuasting for us. I can't imagine being pregnant on top of it. Good luck to you. Cindy
