Hello - I'd like to Introduce Myself
Hello Hoosiers,
I'm new to the boards. I've been "lurking" for several months but finally decided to join as a member. I just got my surgery date two days ago - I'm scheduled for October 20th to have Lapband surgery at St Vincents. My surgeon is Dr. Evanson. I'm very excited about the surgery but also apprehensive. This board has been a GREAT resource and has done a lot to answer my questions.
I work full-time and am the mother of 8 year old twins and a 5 year old. I'm ready to be on the "losing" side!

I have triplet grand daughters!! arent multiples fun!!! MY DIL and I just went to a twin garage sale in greenwood Fri night.. multiple parents got an hour to buy before the public got in on SAT,
You are doing a great thing.. I wish I had done something about my weight when my sons were growing up.. I missed so much by not being able to be as active as I wanted to be.. and stupid me took them to celebrate occasions OUT TO EAT!! gosh how I wish I could take the way I raised them back.. they are good men but I brought them up to think food was a reward..STUPID me!! Food is a necessity to live..so you cant cut it out totally but it certainly is no reward..
My sister lives in Lebonon and a few of our faithful Hoosier Losers are from Lebonon , Lafayette and Thorntown is one of our special ones..
And like they said in support group Teu.. Dr Evenson... the cute one!! You got a winner with him... he cares.. but then so do most of the ones on here,, they are just not a fun to look at during appointments.. makes you not want to miss one!! hehe
