Oct Clothing Exchange

I was wondering if anyone has thought about what they are making for the pitch in. I didnt want to make something that someone else already was bringing. Also I have over a 3 hr drive. Should I make something or just bring drinks and ice in a cooler??? Does anyone have any suggestions. Since this will be my first one I dont want to bring something that spoils on the drive but on the other hand I would like to make something that would impress u all. I was thinking about a crock pot full of ribs...and a sugar free barbeque sauce but I should probably do that when there is one closer to me. Does the place we are going have a plug so things can be reheated ? I was also thinking about making some pinwheel rollups. They are an appitizer with cream cheese and ranch dressing mix spread on ww tortias and then topped with black olives plamentos and green chilis. Refrig overnight and slice. They are served cool and I could bring them in a cooler on ice.

Ohh after I posted I was hungry too. I just went and got some chicken chunks and mushrooms at Frickers. They were so yummy...but by the time I ate 3 chunks I was full so I removed the breading off of one mushroom and ate it. The rest are just waiting on my next meal...LOL Its so weird that one of my old meals can last me over a week now..LOL

As most know I havent been around much ... So i was wanting to know the WHEN and WHERE .. please say its close to me . i would love to join in but for the most part i dont join anything cause its always 2 to 3 hours away.

Jenn Im afraid it will be as far for u as it is for me. Its north of Indy in Kokomo...if I spelled that right. Im sure papa Dan will be updating us soon. Dan and his wife Ann are hosting it. If you are pre-op...or just thinking about surgery....please come!!!! This is a good chance to meet with some folks who have had the surgery. We always have way too many larger size clothes and for those hosting the event...it saves them from having to get rid of the clothes afterwards!!! (Leftovers are given to Charity Groups) For those donating.....PLEASE go through your donations carefully and make sure they are stain free, in good condition and stylish. Well I figure none of them will be close to me unless I host it and Im afraid if I did no one would come clear over here....so for now Im just gonna have to make the drive. I will probably bring my taco dip again. As for your other questions I believe Papa Dan would be the man to ask. Don't know if they are supply the drinks or if there are outlets etc. Sam
