It is Sunday!!

Such a busy weekend!! I rode my motorcycle to Crawfordsville to a baby shower & wedding yesterday.. It was at Lanes Place and then the receptioon at the Sportsmens club.. MY Chaps it took a special 4X LARGE cow in Branson to make 3 years ago and now I have to take them in or buy a new pair!!! I slipped them on over my shoes they were so big on me!! Danced with my 4 year old grandson and rode home again at midnight!! LONG DAY.. Resting after chuirch today!! Linda

Good morning everyone! I didn't go lay out yesterday. I doubt if I do today either. Oh well. I haven't even wanted to tan lately. Maybe once the cooler weather rolls in I'll feel more like warming up. Today is my 2 yr WLS anniversary. So much has happened in those 2 years...and not just physically. Hopefully, before year 3 is complete, I'll have had all my plastic surgeries. My highest weight was 352, but my pre-op weight was 344 and that's the weight I go by when I say how much I've lost. I've lost 174 lbs (I'm 170 now). 10 more and I can start checking into the plastics. My end goal is 140. I started off a 26-28 and am now a size 10. Growing up, I went from a 14 girls chubby to a women's 14 so this is the first time in my life that I have worn a size 10. I've learned alot along the way and so I've tried to share that knowledge with my WLS friends. You all are a wonderful bunch of people! Have a terrific day today, and every day! Sherri

Happy Anniversary Sherri! I am so happy for you! You have been such a help and inspiration to us all! So many depend on these boards when they are pre and post but then after awhile they get busy with life and don't post as much anymore. In some ways it is good to see them merge back into the "normal" zone of life but I for one am so grateful for thoses of you who stick around and help us who are still walking the daily path. You posess so much wisdom and knowledge and I have yet to see a time Sherri that you weren't on here helping someone else along the way. You are truly someone special. I am rooting for your plastics as I hope to see others experience it so I can learn about it too! I hope to have mine in 2 years. I find it so helpful to keep up on those who have been successful some time out as to what they are doing and eating right. Your help here is truly a blessing and I for one am grateful that you have been there for me along my journey. Keep up the fanatastic work sweetie and have a most wonderful day! Hugs! Marianne

Linda, Its so wonderful to hear that your little one is doing so well and may be coming home today. We sure missed your posts while u were gone the last 2 days. You just cant stay away so long next time....LOL Sherri, Congrats on your anniversary. You have done great and u are truely and inspiration to others on here. I know when I was new u sure helped me with getting my paperwork together and Im sure its the only reason I got approved the first time out. Im looking forward to meeting you at the next clothing exchange, I sure hope u will be there. I hope all is still going well with your feet too!!! Gail, I am so happy for you. I heard about your great news last night when I was at work and I wanted to call and congratulate you but it was so late I figured I had better not. I cant wait to share all my tips with u and I have lots of protein that I never fixed that I'll be bringing to the clothing exchange if u get a chance to come u can go thru it. Its so exciting when the ppl we started on here with and struggled along side us get to progress as the good Lord has bessed us. Happy Sunday to all, and happy re-birthday Sherri! What can I say that hasn't already been said? I'll just say thanks for all the help you've given to me and to everyone else here. I've been on the board almost a year now, and I can remember yours being one of the many friendly faces welcoming me abord and rooting for me through my med superived program and when i was trying for approval. Good luck to you on the rest of your journey!

Hi , Sherri- I can only say "ditto" to all that has been said.I looked at your "before" photos & can hardly believe it is you. Your journey has been amazing, & it is wonderful to have you as a mentor/coach/friend. I pray you are healed soon, so you can get back into your normal routines. It was a full day for me. I was hostess at a home tour most of the day & then went with 2 gals out to dinner. We had a wonderful time, & one was a RN. on a Bariatric Ward in Chicago in 1998!!! It was fun to kick back, relax, & enjoy their company. Life is good!!!!! (((hugs))) Ellen
