Gas X?

Does anyone know if we are allowed to take the gasx or something like that? I am 5 months out now and have added tons of veggies into my daily eating. That has created a whole new side effect!! Just wondering, I hope that isn't too personal for this board. I looked at the binder of info. that the clinic gave us and didn't see it mentioned anywhere and I hate to call and bother busy nurses when you all know more about it then most of them! Thanks so much, Carmen

I can't say yes, but I can say that I use it sometimes also. Lisa B

I've used it off & on every since my hysterectomy...a year pre-WLS..including when I was newly post-op from each surgery. It certainly helped release the pent up gas and kept me from having a tummy ache! nope, didn't ask the surgeons but it didn't hurt me and they are chewable. When in doubt, call the nurse! That's what they get the big $ from the insuance for! Sherri
