Saturday!

And the weekend has begun..... Good morning everyone! It's suppose to be a beautiful day today so I hope everyone has an opportunity to enjoy it some. Sam...my first alcohol was a small glass of white wine (red is just way too sweet for me) when I was about a year post-op. I nursed it all night. It was Arbor Mist (for 8 oz: 160 cal, 13 g sugar). I had chose it because it did have the nutrients listed on it's label. It made me very sleepy. Something to consider when you want to be out having a good time..not snoozing. Myself, at 2 months post-op, I would not recommend alcohol at all. Since you aren't the bride, you don't want to be the 'life of the party' but you don't want to be the death of it either...not literal 'death'..but out of it or super drunk..which can kill the mood for you and everyone else. When you first experiment with alcohol, do it at home with just you and your fiance. That way, if it has adverse effects, you are at home with someone who understands and will take care of you. Darrah...Congrats on that 100 lbs! I'm glad Dr. Cacucci wasn't too hard on you. Just take care of yourself sweetie! Tracy, Ellys, Deb..Congrats on your upcoming surgeries. It's amazing how quick time travels when you are waiting on your surgery date to arrive!! Jl..glad you got your paperwork in! I checked on here and Tricare took usually 1-4 weeks. They were also pretty good with approvals after the first letter. Scott...were you able to get yours in too? Jeff...any news yet? Jaimee...Congrats on your anniversary. The new pics looked great! Wow, everyone must be super busy this weekend. Myself I just laid around being sick all day, so didn't get on the PC til late. Hope everyone is having a great wekkend!
