Had my 1 year anniversary!

Hello I had my 1 year anniversary on 8/31/06! It was weird, on that day I couldn't stop thinking back to the day of my surgery; I had my surgery during the time that everything went down with Hurricane Katrina. I keep remembering how "out of it" and horrible I felt afterward, and hearing the tv and feeling so sad for what was happening, but being so out of it that I couldn't express it or even ask someone to turn it off. I was excited to have my 1 year anniversary but also said at the same time. Its hard to celebrate one things and mourn for the losses of others at the same time. Does that make sense? Anyways~ I updated my profile with a more with a more recent photo. I've still got a good 25-30 pounds until I reach my goal. Some days I worry that I'll never get there, but I keep reminding myself that I did this for some much more than the number on the scale. My quality of life is 100% better, I'm happy, I'm healthy, etc. No regrets here!! Jaimee

You look great!!! I'm sure that last bit of weight will come off. Its just a matter of time, like it was with all the weight you've already lost. Keep up the good work!
