OK, I've done the doctor supervised eating plan for 3 months, saw the psychologist numerous times and I am now ready to resubmit to my insurance (American Community) to see if they will approve my surgery. I even included a letter stating why I wanted the surgery and stated if all of the eating plans I had been on worked I wouldn't be requesting surgery. But I'm jumping thru all of their hoops because I know I am worth it. Thanks to all of you for the support the past few months just be sure and say a little prayer, cross your fingers or whatever else you can do to help with the approval. I will keep you informed. Thanks also to those who submitted "sample" insurance appeal letters to help with my process. Regina
