Good morning Angie and everyone. Ugh I don't like Monday holidays, meeses me up for the entire week always a day behind.lol I spent my weekend on a motorcycle can't think of anything more enjoyable. Update on my weight loss... it's been almost 7 months and I am down 97 lbs I currently wear a size 6 pants and an eight in juniors. My daughters don't like sharing their clothes heehee but that's ok, they now borrow mine lol. What a feeling!!! The only thing I regret is not taking my "before" measurements. I know I have lost tons of inches but no idea how much. Funney I still continue to look in the "big womens" clothes before hubby, my daughters or my sister drags me away to the smaller clothes. I still envision myself big. Weird. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!! Hugsssss, Tammy

Morning, All! Tammy - I'm soooooo jealous! It would have been a lovely week-end to be out on the motorcycles, but I feel that my riding season is done until next year.... I start my physical therapy this afternoon on my knee. I'm off wor****il at least next week when I go back for my follow-up with the surgeon. It's starting to feel better, but movement is still pretty limited and I still have some pain. TG for Vicodin.... Have a great day everyone! Bren

Good morning everyone! Bren...I'm glad your knee is doing better. I take it that the one place finally quit bleeding...? Are you liquid vicodin or tablets? The liquid loratab has a tendency to give me insomia so I need to find an alternate pain med before my next surgery. I have my 2 yr appt with Dr. Gupta before my other foot surgery so I was going to ask her for suggestions. Good luck with the PT... & with returning to work. I think I have about 2 more weeks off. He had originally said 6 weeks, which would put me going back on the 25th..but my next appointment is the 13th. We'll see then. You all have a good Tuesday! Sherri

Sherri, The one incision still seeps a little bit - but only if I've been up and moving quite a bit, so it's MUCH better than last week. It's never been a gusher, but I hate the sight of ANY blood, so this is definately better! I'm on Vicodin pills - no problems with getting them down. They make me REALLY sleepy, though! I'm trying to only take them if I HAVE to. I only tried the Lortab once (after the LapBand) - it made me want to Bren

Bren, Would you email me exactly what is written on your script bottle for the vicodin? I've tried capsules (laxatives)..and they don't dissolve for me. Tablets have done better. As long as a pill isn't too big, I don't have too much problem swallowing them or with them getting stuck in the stoma. I did have problems with Amoxicillin though. Those puppies are huge! Besides, they are capsules. So, I always ask for that in liquid form too. Capsules pass right on through! I can get the loratab down ok..if it's flavored. The pharmacist always looks at me funny, but it's worth it! I would much rather be made sleepy when I'm hurting than to be wide awake until the pain returns. Take it easy with the knee. I'm guessing that eventually I will have to have my left knee worked on...but gotta get the rest of me ok first. LOL. Sherri

I just take the shot glass and pout the liquid loratab in and pour some sunny delight on top or some white grape juice.. not a problem gettingit down.. less than an ounce of liquid but ohhh so much easier to swallow... my vitamins and the antibiotic I had to take... I just break the pills in half.. never had a problem getting any thing stuck.. Linda
