Happy Thursday!

Good morning everyone! Sitting down to my breakfast of sugar free pistachio pudding. I had planned on cheerios with a banana, but my stomach turns just thinking about it for some reason. I wanted something smooth and cold, and so pudding it is. How did things go at the foot doctor yesterday Sherri? Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all! I think my scale is about to find out what it feels like to fly out the window! I am sooo tired of weighing the exact same every morning. Oh well tantrum over. I have been real lucky so far so maybe my bod just needs some more time to regroup. I have to go to the eye DR today and get my prescription changed for my contacts. I have been using the same frames on y glasses foe the last 8 years. I only wear them at night and early morning. But I have decided to get some new modern frames. I wish I had someone to go with me to tell me which ones to pick. I never know which ones look nice. Pam, how was the gym? Unless you were to busy to make it out of the house! Morning Everyone, Yesterday was a troublesome day for me. I had to make an emergency run to the doctors. For the last two weeks I've been extremely tired and light headed to the point that on a few occasions I've lost my vision. Went in yesterday and my doctor is concerned that either my thyroid is acting up or AGAIN I'm back to being severly anemic. *sigh* So I came home and rested my thoughts and frustrated in God's hands. Whatever the problem I know I'll get thru this. Finished things up for the meeting tonight. Remembered this morning that it is my one year bandiversary. I can't believe it's been a year already. Wow - the time sure has flown by. I'm down 104 pounds. Though I haven't lost anything in the last week and a half I'm not worried. I've noticed that it comes off in waves now. Though I am down 17 lbs from last month - so it's all good in Jodi Land, hahah! Well off to cozy back in my warm bed and watch the news. Waiting for the doctors office to call me today with the results from my blood draw yesterday. Hope everyone has a great day!! Jodi

Hello everyone. I hope everyone has a great day. I am not planning to do much today. I have to work all weekend and my husband will be working late tonight so I think I will just not do much at all today. It is so gloomy and pretty cool outside today and I just feel like lazing around the house. I hope everyone has a great day. Kylie

Good morning everyone! I went to the foot doc yesterday. I can now take a shower. Woo-Hoo! I can also tan as long as I have a sock on to protect the incision. No problem. I don't tan for the 'tan' as much as I do for the relaxation of it. No hot tub for awhile though. The incision isn't all the way healed so don't want to run the risk of it getting infected. Also, the temp of the water could cause my foot to really swell up...and it's swollen enough (which he prescribed Celebrex for). I'm to continue walking on it as little as possible. Basically, to the bathroom and back. I'm also suppose to wear the darn boot when I walk. I'm not so good at wearing it 24/7. It hurts my foot when I do wear it...I think because of the swelling.... but I do make sure I have it on if I'm going to be standing for awhile or if we go anywhere. The doc removed the bandage, replaced the butterfly sutures with fresh ones, and just put a taped gauze over it. It's nice to be able to see the toes I'm trying to wiggle to see if they are actually moving or not. All but the big toe moves so far. Not much, but at least some. The big toe is still pretty numb. The pain I have is more where the joint is. My next office visit isn't until Sept. 13th. It still hurts, but I guess that's why 6 weeks off instead of 3, huh? While we were going to the doc's, my daughter was driving my Durango. Well..my AC went out! So..guess what I'll be dealing with as soon as I can drive?!? Darn thing! I had to order my granddaughter a birthday present online since her BD is Sept. 15...before I'll be able to drive/walk. She's going to be 1. Anyway, I had so much fun! I ended up ordering some other stuff for two of the other grandkids as well (one is 2 1/2 and the other is 7 months). So now I have about 1/2 of my Christmas shopping for all three of them done! The 4th, Chance, I'm waiting till I get HIS Christmas list since he's 5 and knows more of what he wants. I did get him a new booster car seat though. I spent about $550!! But in my defence, I got a new carseat for each of the two girls since they are out-growing theirs and they were $90 each. And let's not forget s&h. Darrah...I think sf pudding is a yummy breakfast! lol Oh...what all did you put in lay-away for the baby? My daughters have an extra swing and I'm sure there will be lots of other stuff as my grandson gets too big for stuff. I told the girls to go through their baby clothes and anything gently used or new (I've seen stuff with the tags still on it!), to bag up. I figure between you & Leah, maybe one can use the girl stuff & the other the boy stuff. Carmen...quit weighing every day. That can get discouraging. Try once a week. As to glasses...I hate trying to pick out new ones. I'm kinda picky and the ones I like..my head is usually too wide for. Jodi...Congrats! On your aniversary & weight loss! When my hypothyroid was diagnosed, I was tired all the time too. If it's that, it's just one little pill a day. Kylie...enjoy your lazy day! Everyone deserves one now & then!! Marianne...which hotel are you staying at this time when you go to Vegas? I don't know which all hae their pools on their roofs. I know Plaza did. Good morning, everyone! Haven't been around much this week. Had my knee surgery on Tuesday and it went well. Most of the swelling has gone down and it's not too painful....but, maybe that's just the Vicodin talkin'. I'm still using the ice water pump and keeping it elevated for another day or so. I was finally able to take a shower yesterday and that made me feel much more human. Almost passed out when DH changed my bandages, though. I'm such a wuss when it comes to seeing blood... I'm trying to hobble around today w/out the crutches. Doc said I could put weight on it. Getting around okay, but I'm not gonna pu**** I'll probably start PT next week...and that'll be fun... Good Afternoon! I am sitting here enjoying some Saltines. Who would have thought I'd become addicted to Saltines ever in my life. I love them! They substitute for chips greatly! Work is somewhat hectic today since they are re-configuring my cubicle. Right now I am housed with the printers so people startle me on a regular basis. I can't wait till I can move in to the new one. The fabulous Felicia spruced my profile for me. It is so totally me! I love it! Take a minute to check it out. I CAN VOUCH FOR THAT!!!!! Carmen owned every pink top ever made, thing is I have them now and everyone asks me what has happened!!! Since I never wore pk and now its all they see me in at work. They call me the pepto bismal queen at work now. Mostly since it been such a big change and ince Ive had stomach surgery and dont eat with them they any more. They think that they are being funny....actually they are pretty funny about it...they arent being mean. Thing is I had bought my neice a beautiful hot pink purse that was a big designer and all leather. Well I had ordered it online for her birthday and when it came it was a little big for her so I ended up getting her something else and kept the purse for myself. I had the purse for 1.5 yrs and never used it. I met Carmen and ended up with a pink closet full of clothes and now I use that purse at least 2 times a week probably more...LOL Cant beat those free clothes no matter what color they are....Ive been expanding my colors as well as my horizons. Just shrinking that waist line LOL!!! Thank you Carmen!!!! Ohh and Carmen...I never wore much blue before and Im wearing alot more of it becouse of u too!!! Come to think of it before I met u I wore alot of Orange, red, and a whole lot of Black and Brown...LOL Mariah

Sam, I checked out your profile and it was awsome. I saw that you met a man from Linton Indiana that was having surgery this month. I was just wondering if you remember his name. I am from Linton and it is such a small town and thought maybe I know him. The profile is really great. Kylie
