Hello !!!

Hello all. I was recently told about this site and joined today. I am in the beginning stages of all of this......and very excited but nervous!!!!! I had my consult with the surgeon yesterday and I now have the psych exam scheuled and on my way. Wish me luck. Everyone seems so supportive !!!! I am 39 and I am at my heaviest that I have ever been 350. Thanks, Rebecca

This is the most exciting, scarey,life changing journey you have ever been on and you are with people who have gone or are going exactly where you have been.. some symptoms might change a little but one thing or another SOMEONE has felt it before.. thats the wonder of this place!!! Rebecca, Welcome to the site! Not only supportive...but nosey here. Where ya from? What surgeon did you consult with? We are a group that not only like to support each other on here, but also enjoy meeting each other in person. We have clothing exchanges about every 3 months and anyone, pre or post-op are welcome. It's also a pitch-in..all healthy WLS-friendly stuff. There's also other get-togethers throuh-out the year which you'll usually see the invites posted on here. Feel free to browse through our profiles and get to know us abit. If you have any questions, feel free to ask away! Hi all. Wow!! All the replies so far. Sherri I don't mind nossies !!! HAHAHA I am from Columbus, IN. I am going through Columbus Regional Hospital. The doctors are Greg Mullis and David Lee. I had my consult with Dr. Mullis. Really nice person. The Bariatric Center down here has only been open for a couple of years. I have talked to several folks who have had WLS here and everyone that I have talked to have been really happy with the center in Columbus. Like I said before I am excited but very nervous about all of this!!!! But I am happy that I found this site. It is helping me a lot by reading about everyone and the post.
