Monday Morning
I have my second follow up with Dr Cacucci today. Does anyone know at what points they take pictures or measure u again. Do they wait 3 or 6 months before they do it again or do they go more by wt...and say do it when u loose 50 or 100 lbs? Just wondering what Im in for today. They never told me what to expect on these follow up apts. Any info would be greatly appricated.
Have a great week everyone

Good Morning! I too am interested in what they will be doing. My appointment is on Friday. I know they took my picture at my 1 Week Post Op appointment, so I am going to guess they will take it today. I really hope they measure or I can get my beginning measurements from them. I know that I have lost inches for sure. Let me know what you find out!
Crappy weather...BLAH! I hate driving in the rain. Oh well...better get to work! Everyone have a great day!

I had my pic taken at my one week appt, and then that was the last time. My 6 month appt is on the 8th, so I can let you know about that then.
Today is my first ultrasound! I'm very excited, and very glad it is today, as I had some spotting yesterday, and am 99 times more paranoid that something is wrong now than I was before.
My goal had originally been to be in a size 18 dress for my husband's christmas party (which now obviously wont happen) and to be in onderland by my one year anniversary (which is near my due date, so also not happening). Now I don't know what to make for my goal. I'm very confused in that department. I'm starting month 3 tomorrow, and no one has even told me how much weight I should be gaining. They told me that I would prolly continue to lose weight during the first trimesterm and I have alebiet slowly. But surely they don't expect me to CONTINUE losing weight? It's hard to find any info on pregnancy this soon after WLS. I wouldn't trade being pregnant for the world, even if it meant I'd never lose the extra weight afterwards, but all the uncertainties just worry me.
Well, time to go get cleaned up and start downing some water so we can see the little darling.
You all have a good day!
Darrah,
Im so excited for you. U will be fine Im sure. I wouldnt worry about a wt goal right now I would just have a goal of being/eating healthy for u and the baby. When I was in nursing school we were taught that a women should gain 24 lbs during her pregnancy and only like 3 lbs the first tri mester. However, I have no idea what it would be for you post wls. Im sure it would be about the same. U just may have to be more careful about making sure u are absorbing all the important nutrients for that baby.
How is your knee/leg doing?
