I am meeting a girlfriend tomorrow AM for Brunch at Cracker Barrel. I was wondering what everyone orders? I will be 6 weeks out on Tuesday. Ideally I would like to get some hashbrown casserole and or bacon. I'm sick of the mushy stuff (ie oatmeal and grits) Think I would be OK with hashbrown casserole? Sam

Sam, I get 1 egg ( over easy), 2 crisp bacon, & hash brown casserole, but usually can only eat alittle of the casserole because it isn't very moist. Hope you have a great time with your friend. Girls time is the best! :beeronly it is really decaf coffee)-ha! (((hugs))) Ellen

I'm with Ellen there. I wanted hashbrown casserole too and CrackerBarrel was my frist meal out post op. It's just pretty dry usually. And before you go ask them, no, they dont serve green beans in the morning they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked.

So Sam do tell us what u ended up eathing and how u tolerated it. Im so wanting to go out to eat when Andy gets home Wed. So far about all Ive had when I eat out is fish or soup. Im so wanting to be daring...LOL How has your wt loss been? I go Monday to Dr Cacucci's office for my so called one month check up....I dont know who does that math since its been over a month and a half. I am looking forward to it though. Does anyone know when they measure u next? They measured me on my first visit...when I listened to the seminar(which was months before surgery)...I even wt less then than when I had surgery by 10 lbs but they have never measured me again. I have no idea what my measurements were and I was hoping they would do it again and I can see how much Ive lost. Mariah lap rny on 7 12 06 394/324/160 Down 70 lbs today. I wanted to be down 100 by my 2 months but Im not gonna make it so Im trying for 75 by 2 months...lol I had to re-adjust!

Thanks Trish, Fall has always been my favorite season. I just love the colors. If u look in my closet I have so many oranges and browns and reds and greens. The first new car I bought was Green with Gold detailing...LOL My wedding was planned for Oct so I could do it in all fall colors. My theme was fall leaves and pumpkins. My pics were amazing with all the beautiful colors. Speaking of my wedding...if anyone is planning on a fall wedding...I have TONS of decorations. 25 or 30 linen table cloths in orange and red plaid. Tons and tons of other things. If I cant find anyone interested soon Im going to put them on Ebay. My husband wants all this stuff out of the house but I paid like 10,000 for all this stuff and I hate to just take it to Goodwill.

Went this AM with my girlfriend. I chose some bacon and hashbrown casserole. Absolutely delicious!! It took me a good long time to eat it but that's because I was too busy "girl talkin'." It was very yummy and totally filled me up! I don't think I'll eat the rest of the day! Weight loss is going great! 32lbs. and counting. I still don't really see it but Eric tells me almost every night he can tell. I was laying on the bed yesterday talking to Eric and he goes "Dang girl you can really tell how much you have lost when you lay down!" This surgery has been great for us as a couple...can't seem to get enough of each other anymore I go on Friday to Dr. C's office for my 6 week follow up. I do hope they measure us! I know I have lost inches for sure. My pants are all baggy and I love it! Let me know how it goes on Monday!! Sam

For MONTHS all I got for breakfast is 1 egg and a pc of ham... dipped the ham in the yellow... couldnt eat all the ham... still cant.. and I still watch the onions in food like the casserole because I hate the bathroom enough as it is without adding onions to the system... heheh Linda
