My PCP said no more insulin! YAYYYYYYYYYY My sugar levels are finally in order! She still wants me to take Actos in the am, but that's nothing compared to insulin injections! Another goal met!

I would be thrilled too!! I hate needles!! People say this surgery is vanity.. the easy way out... Heck no its the healthy way out!!! Look at so many good things that happen when we loose... Congrats on your improved health!!! I like the part where we will actually live longer and actually get to enjoy life... Linda

Congratulations!

As a former diabetic, I can appreciate how much this means to you. I was fortunate enough to have wls before my type 2 diabetes progressed to the need for insulin, but I was insulin dependent during my gestational diabetes with my 2nd child. Those shots are no fun! I'm sure you'll be able to get off of the pills soon too. Good luck. Cindy
