Good Morning fabulous OH Family!! Today I am officially 5 weeks out from surgery and at a 30 pound loss. Not too shabby if I say so myself. So how was everyone's weekend? We had some great weather! I am enjoying these cool mornings but hate driving to work in the dark! I spent most of the weekend with family and friends. Friday night I was at the hospital seeing my new niece. Saturday got my nails done and then had dinner with Eric's family (14 of us total in Olive Garden!) Of course I didn't tell his family I had surgery and his mom asked across the table "Sam why aren't you eating much?" Uhh...well....I just explained I was in a wedding in September and was trying to diet. She even asked Eric later if I was sick. This could get complicated. I did have a great soup that was super yummy! I highly recommend it. Sunday was back at my best friend's house with my mom to see the baby again. She is just too precious! Almost makes me want one....a long time from now!! Yesterday however, wasn't such a good day. I woke up hurting. I was tired, my head hurt, I had cramps, and I felt like someone punched me in the gut. I think Eric or the dog kicked me in their sleep. Also I have learned that when I don't get enough rest, my body starts hurting to let me know I need to sleep. So I took the day off of work and slept till 1PM! I did get some cleaning done and mainly relaxed. Usually I get one day a weekend like that but not this weekend. Hopefully next I'll get some rest. Well I better get to work. I swear this office stops everytime I am gone!! Have a great day everyone!! Sam

Sam, Good Morning! Glad to hear you are doing so well! It is an amazing journey! Keep up the great job, the results and WOW's are on their way! I had a great weekend, visited with my sister and neices. Also, Sunday was my darling hubby and I's 12 year wedding anniversary and yesterday we were officially together 14 years, so we have been busy getting in the anniversaries as well as I started school last night at Ivy Tech. Glad the first class is out of the way, now maybe my nerves can calm down a bit. It was a little overwhelming for me, I feel like I am too old to be starting college (almost 38) however I wasn't the youngest or oldest for that fact, it was pleasantly and surprisingly comfortable for me last night! Now to get thru Friday, which is my next class' first night. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well! Sorry that I haven'y been on in a while or responded to many e-mails but I feel like I am running out of time, as many of you are as well I am sure. In time I will figure this all out and get back on track. SOON, I hope! Off to work, have a great day! Hugz Dawn

Good morning everyone! Sam...I can't wait to see you again! I just know you are looking so wonderful! I'm with you, if I don't get enough sleep, my day is worth zip so I would also better off just calling in and going in late. Dawn...Congrats on getting things started at Ivy Tech. What program are you in? When I went back, I was 26 and loved it that the majority of people there were adults...not a bunch of teeny boppers straight out of high school. The people there understood about juggling schoolwork, housework, and childcare. Even the few teeny boppers that were there though were ones whose Mommy & Daddy weren't paying for everything for them (those kids were at the 4 year universities instead) so they understood the problems of having to pay rent, keeping your clunker of a car running and getting groceries in the apartment. The instructors were all understanding of these things too and treated us with respect...as adults. I loved Ivy Tech, and I know you will too. Leah....Congrats on getting to this first major milestone. We are all looking forward to these precious babies!! Enjoy your vacation. Everyone...Have a terrific Tuesday. I pop on whenever my foot allows me to. Usually, by the time I catch up reading the posts, it's telling me it's had enough so I don't post. Sherri
