Hello To Joyce from Wal-Mart

This may seem like a strange post to some of you....I met this lovely lady at the Southport Wal-Mart this evening. We were in the checkout lane and I overheard her talking to the clerk about her picture on her license not being current...then looking at some of the healthy items she had purchased, I was pretty sure she was a GB patient. Sure enough...we struk up a conversation and I told her about this wonderful site and how friendly and helpful you all are so I told her I would post something to her so she can find me on the messageboards. She had her surgery 7 months ago with Dr. Clark at St F. I know several of you all have Dr. Clark and I thought this would be really good forum for her. So...Joyce if you get this....WELCOME!! We are all friends on here with common goals. The best bunch of people you will ever meet that is for sure. no doubt she had one fine surgeon................hope she finds up and gives us a shout.....did she know you were a sleeze? LOL....i still have not gotten to the mall..plus to dang hot period to leave my air....i did for a minute today and could not wait to get back home.

Hey Joyce! Welcome!!! Can't wait to get to know you. What Wal-mart were you at? My daughter is a cashier at the new one in Greenwood. Now, she'd be a heck of a cashier to get in a conversation with about WLS! LOL! She was there with me for each of my procedures...so she is especially well versed on endoscopies! Haha!! Feel free to post as often as you like. We're a pretty friendly bunch that welcomes newbies (pre or post-op!)!!! Sherri
