It's Hump Day!
Oh I just can't WAIT til this time Friday! I love vacations where you go nowhere! I will be nice to get up at this time of the morning because I feel like it, not because mr alarm clock says I have to.
Another pilates class today, but I think I'm going to do cardio instead. I'm still VERY sore from Monday's class, and I think going to another one could really hurt my muscles. So I'm going to give them a break from pilates tonight, and just do cardio. I'll be back at pilates Monday though!
I wish I'd either hurry up and start my period or these cramps (and sore boobies!) would go away. I called and made an appt with the OBGYN on the 24th for an annual exam and blood pregnancy test.
TGI Hump Day! Only 1.5 more days of work and I'm off for a camping trip. Hopefully the heat/humidity will taper off a bit this week-end. Going up to the Dunes with a bunch of friends.
Darrah - You're much braver than I am. I haven't had the nerve to try a "public" pilates class... I'm getting a few pilates/ball videos from the library and I'm gonna try those out first...and then go to a class if I like it. My employer offers pilates and yoga classes onsite a couple of times a week at a decent rate. I just want to be able to get back to exercising again, but my knee is keeping me grounded.

Good Morning!
Hope everyone is doing well. I am so amazed how much this heat doesn't bother me anymore since I'm no longer obese!!! 25 more pounds and I will be "Normal". I am having a horrible time though eating what I should be. This week is Employee Appreciation Week in our office and they have been bringing food in all week! Plus I'm going to school, so I really have no time to plan and prepare good meals. I've got to get my act together or I'm going to be back where I started. I so wish that sugar/fat made me dump, but unfortunately they don't. I've started a new day today, so hopefully I'll be able to stick to "the plan" the whole day! Does anyone else have this problem of not being able to resist temptation? How do you deal with it...I need a good butt-kicking!!! Just wondering how our newbies Sam and Mariah are doing? Everything going ok for you guys? Darrah, good luck with your excercising, that's one thing I haven't done for about 2 months since I've been back in school. I sit in front of computer all day at work, go to class and sit, go home and sit in front of computer doing homework, getting old! This week is last week for classes so hopefully I will be able to get back to my walking/bike riding next week-at least until fall semester starts! Everyone have a great day!
Julie, Im doing really well. The hardest part for me is breakfast because I never ate breakfast before. I usually wake up about 8am and dont eat till 1 pm but then I do get the 3 meals in....eating the last one right before I go to bed. I think alot of the problem is that I work nights and I usually wouldnt be getting up till 1pm...so Im hoping once I get back to work I can get that all worked out.
The wt is coming off but in really weird ways. Some days I loose 4 or 5 lbs and then will go days before I loose one more. But im not complaining...at least its still coming off....I just think that scale wants to drive me crazy. Maybe as I get a lower wt it will be more consistant in how it wts. Im probably still stressing it out at this wt...LOL
I manage to get in all my 75gms of protein and 64oz water plus more without any problem. Im not doing really good on the Calcium but Im gonna start monday on it again...It was making me choke before. I have a really hard time getting pills down.
My wt to date is 342 down from 394....and its been 3 weeks today. So thats 52#. I hope I can keep this up for the next 3 months...but Im sure after I get off this liquid diet it will slow down.
Are u still working on getting a support group in Greenville....or was that u? I would really like to find a support group without having to drive the 2 hrs to Carmel.

Darrah..you are having a blood pregnancy test done. Does that mean you've already tried an EPT? If so, TELL US THE RESULTS!! Have fun in pilates class today!
I checked the calendar. For the right foot, I'll be off of work from August 11-Sept 25. The surgeon wanted to wait 2-6 weeks after I return to work to do the left foot. November 3rd would put it after the OH conference. I'd be back to work Dec. 18th. Dec. 23-Jan. 2nd, we're off for Christmas/New Year's as the company 'vacation'. So..If I hold back say 3 days of vacation, I'd be back to work for 2 days, then off till the first of the year. I had already planned on taking off 2 days for the conference. So...that leaves ~8.5 days yet for me to squeeze in. Unfortunately, with us, you have to use them or lose them (no carry-over to the next year). I'll get her figured out.

Darrah-Good luck- I don't think I could stand to wait till the 24th to see if I was expecting. I was lucky. I work in a lab so when I thought I was expecting I'd just do the test then call my Dr. That was 20 years ago. Can't do that now. To many rules.
Julie- I with you on the food. Sweets just make me a little queesy. I think fried foods are the worst. I tried a chix sandwich and fries from Wendys one day and thought I'd die. My worst snacking is chips,crackers and pretzels. I find the best way to avoid them is out of sight out of mind. If I keep busy I also don't think about snacking. But then I don't think about drinking either and sometimes don't get the water and protein I need.
I've had an awsome start to the day. We had a meeting this morning and afterward I had my annual evaluation. All went well and I get a 4.1% raise this year. (standard is 3% in our facility) Then I sold my ticket to the Race on Sunday. We got 2 autographed penthouse seats in AJ Foyts box for the 400 from the car dealer when I bought my new car this month. We don't follow Nascar so we decided to sell the tickets to help fund our vacation. They are 140 a ticket and I got them sold for 100 each. For our vacation we are going back to Gatlinburg TN. We went there last year and rented a cabin for a week in October. This year will be so much better. I should be over 100 pounds lighter than I was then. last year I couldn't hike the trails or do any of the fun stuff. This year we are going to do it all. I'm going on horseback trail rides. I'm going to do the waterfall hikes. AND SHOP!!!
I wish everyone could be as happy and feel as good as I do today. In case you haven't noticed I'm very High on life today.
Hump day is being gracious to myself today. Got up and weighed in at 169 lbs. That's minus 148 lbs from highest weight and 98 lbs from surgery day weight. That means I'm only 2 pounds away from being minus 100lbs from surgery day weight and 4 lbs from goal... WOOO HOOOO! I'm so excited.
Still having problems with eggs no matter how they are cooked. And this humidity is making my band tighter then normal but I'm still working it.
