youre certainally in myprayers! If its any consolation, I felt like I ate, and ate, and ate today. In fact, I had breakfast twice! Had pineapple and cottage cheese , then a couple hours later (but still before lunch time) i had to have some yogurt/granola. Had some fish for lunch, then soup vegetable beef (healthy request) soup and a little more cottage cheese for dinner. Still well under in calories for the day, but sometimes I worry about my snacking (ie two breakfasts)

Oh Gail I have been there so many times! I have been battling all last week with eating more than I should! I wouldn't beat yourself up too bad...at least the stuff you are eating is healthy!! Good Luck at the doctor!! Sam

I find my worse enemy is boredom...or sleepiness. If I'm bored, I'll munch..so I've learned to get up & get busy doing anything that requires both hands. If I'm sleepy & trying to stay up & watch TV with Bill...then it's a big time struggle! I want to spend time with him, but I've found myself eating just to stay awake! So...I guess my advise would be to listen to your body more. Alot of people eat when what they actually are is thirsty. When you want to munch, drink some water & wait a half hour. See if doing something active will take your mind off of it. If after a half hour you see that it is a 'hungry', not just a 'I want it', then go for it...in moderation! I think to be successful, sometimes you have to make a deal with your body . Give it a little of what it wants ( a sf cookie) but make it give you an extra 1/2 mile walking in exchange for it. Looking at what you ate...I'd say the worse thing you had was the juice. Most juices are loaded with sugar. Switch that to ice cold water or Crystal Light. Try keeping low/no fat cheese in the house to go with those crackers and right now is the season for melons, so enjoy them while you can! Add some low-fat dip (Kroger has some really good french onion low fat dip) to your fridge to go with that celery. Sometimes, the taste buds need to think it is cheating..so give them the healthy version of a 'cheat'. They'll pester you less . Good luck! Sherri
