Wish me luck,please!!!

Well I am going to be real brave today and do something I have NEVER done. I got a card in the mail for a free pair of panties and $10.00 off a bra at Victoria's Secret. I have never set foot inside there for fear they would ask me to leave. But I am going to put on my extra thick skin and bad attitude and bring my Mom for protection. I really want to try some of there bras on and could sure use a black one to go with a new dress I just bought. If worse comes to worse I will pick out some free panties for my 20 year old daughter and make a fast retreat for Lane Bryant. I hope it doesn't come to that! LOL I have been wearing a size 36C so I hope there bras go up that big at least. BTW Marianne I plan to pop into Debs while I'm at the mall and see if I can find a few new tops. Hold you head up high and go in, I felt the same way a few weeks ago and made my mom go with me too. The girls that work a our VS are really nice and very helpful. I had the nerve to try on a few things and they fit, now it seems to be one of my favorite stores. That was one of my goals I wanted to shop at Victoria's Secrets.... I took a deep breath and went on in! It wasn't all that bad I started out nervous but got braver by the minute. They had my size and I tried on tons. I bought 3 new bras for me and three first bras for my 9 year old. The ladies were nice and very helpful. I will definitely go back again. Thanks for your support. No pun intended. Carmen

OMG they are so cute and my girls are back up were they belong. I feel so much better and the ladies were sooo nice. I wi**** didn't cost so much I hope they last awhile. Thank You, Carmen

Carmen, You have a blast Girl!! My husband was talking to me on the phone at lunchtime...he asked if I was stopping anywhere on the way home tonight....I told him no...I was sort of giving up shopping for a little while...lol you see I went to Debs Monday, got 5 tops, Wednesday for 9 tops, a jacket and 2 belts, went in on Thursday to get one top I should have gotten on Wednesday...lol and came out with 4 so.......I have so many goodies now I bet there are 25 new things in my closet I haven't even worn yet! The good thing is my upper body won't get alot smaller and with the styles I got...I will be able to keep these in my closet for a long time and wear them again next summer too. Jeans will keep going down so I limit myself on them but for most of my tops...the sky is the limit! I am sure loving them and I can't wait to show off all my new weasle wear in Vegas! I stopped in at Debs while I was at the mall, and tried on a few tops. My mom thought they were too young for me but I did break down and buy a short jean skirt. I pulled it out of the bag and my husband was shocked. That should be great fun to wear. I also bought 3 new bras at VS and 8 pairs of firm control unders at Pennys. They were all buy one get one half off. I took my 9 year old with and she got her first bras big day!! Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes, Carmen I wish I were going to Vegas!!

Carmen, I don't know how old you are but....I am 50 and if your mother says you are too old for something just smile and get what makes you feel good. I believe dressing is all about attitude and I certainly have one! lol I love tops that make me feel good and don't give a hoot about what age they are for...lol Next Time..sneek in there by yourself and trust your judgement on what makes you feel good.....the skirt sounds hot!
